Masala simmer sauce makes a great quick chicken (or vegetable) masala easy to make in your own kitchen. No need to travel to your nearest Indian restaurant. Add Naan bread and your favorite chutney for a savory meal for weeknights or a special occasion.
Making your own Masala sauce is time consuming (and messy!), this cuts your cooking process in half. If you like your masala sauce with kick, this is right up your alley. However, it's not unbearable if spice isn't your thing. Adding cream to even it out will tone it down a notch.
I found this sauce too watery and not flavorful enough. I simmered it with tofu but it didn't impart any flavor. Even the rice with leftover sauce poured over was fairly bland. This one was a miss for me, unfortunately.
This product is pretty good and has some nice heat. I cooked it up with chicken a few weeks ago and added a little more cream to help balance it out. The price is fair and the product is a total time-saver.
