I sent this to my 9 year old niece and she was so excited to build this. A great STEM toy that actually works!! Hands on building, problem solving and critical thinking learning toy.

I have two kids ages 6 and 11, it was a fun project to sit down and do together. Although the 6 year old insisted he knew how to do it himself and would try to do parts and we’d have to go back over them and do them again. If your kids like building things and get a cool gadget out of it, this is definitely for you. I think my 11 year old enjoyed building it more and my 6 yr old enjoyed the end results better.

86 pieces sounds intimidating but it was actually quite fun and easy to put together. I'm glad I was able to show my kids how film works, they thought the crank was the coolest part. I would definitely get this again as a gift!
