I've got several of these, and I've had them for years. They work great a little bit of lubrication, like w d forty works, great autumn, i've never had an issue they've never broke on me

These were great for the secondary safety chains on my tow rig, works great! Keep them lubed up if they stay outside and I believe they will last you a very long time.
