The carbonated topo-Chico mineral water is actually surprisingly tasty & refreshing! I didn’t think it would have as much flavor as it does. It’s crisp, light & refreshing— but only for about 2 twist of the caps. After 2 it’s pretty flat and boring tasting unfortunately. I bet this isn’t too bad with a quality gin, lime + ice!
I’ll be honest, it is pretty pricey for how quickly it falls flat.
The Topo Chico Sabores variety are an amazing drink... especially for summer! My favorite is, well, it's a tie between the Lime & Mint and the Blueberry Hibiscus. I will admit, I do stir in a tsp of agave nectar into the can (using chopsticks, lol)... but I like a little sweetness in the background! If you're after strong carbonation, I'd go for the original Topo in the glass bottles... the bubbles are larger and it's amazingly refreshing. The Sabores line is too, I'd just say that the carbonation bubbles are a tad bit smaller and carbonation is
not as intense! I feel like when it comes to Topo Chico, you can't go wrong! The price is okay, for the Sabores line it's a bit more expensive.. I think they're usually $7.99 and tha makes them $1 each. And that's alright by me. I love them, and if you love carbonated drinks without a ton of sugar then these are where it's at!
I couldn’t find a listing for the Topo Chico Ginger Beer but it’s delicious! It’s one of the cheaper ginger beer options I’ve found and I think it can be a little less “deep” of a flavor compared to other brands, but it compliments citrus flavors like lime really well so I tend to use it as a mixer in my cranberry-apple Moscow Mules. I top mine off with a squeeze or two of lime and some Topo Chico Ginger Beer and it makes for a very refreshing carbonated spicy-citrus aftertaste. The overall vibe is very “summer Christmas”.
