Sand of any kind is not good for bearded dragons nor most reptiles. It can harm them. Bearded dragon lick things to check temps and when the lick the sand they swollow it. And the powder can ger in their eyes and nose

Do NOT use sand of any kind. There is no such thing as a safe sand for any reptile, or animal even. This CAN and WILL lead to impaction eventually. It is irresponsible to use any sand for reptiles. Please use tile, newspaper or paper towels. Please be a responsible pet owner

Got this for my bearded dragon when he was a baby it is great because it will not cause impactions and is safe if the animal accidentally eats. Only downside it is heavy and the colors in the sand will "stain" the animal living in it.
