This is a very thick bold non-flaky mascara. When they say waterproof that is exactly what it means. I have watery eyes and it stays put. At the end of my day I go home I do have the leather up my fingertips with soap just to take the mascara off. This is great for a long wear mascara that doesn't smudge or run down your face if you happen to cry.
