The packaging is genius, giving multiple ways to use this glue with either a precision or broader application. It is sticky, but you have some play with it before it fully dries. I didn't find this messy to work with at all, and there was no unpleasant smell that I've encountered with other brands. Over all very pleasant to work with and wide variety of applications.
