I love a good cold brew - as a coffee snob, the smoothness and chocolate flavor you get from any beans cannot be beat. And nothing is easier to use than this Toddy system. Simply fill a filter bag in the container with coarsely ground coffee, fill with water, and let it sit at room temp to your desired strength. While this does use a lot of beans, it makes a concentrate - which you dilute when you drink it. So it does make a pretty decent quantity of brew in one batch. My only qualm is on price. I got this in the clearance section at Walmart for $7, which is a bargain - no doubt. Paying the full $40 price for this though is ridiculous, as it is basically a plastic tub with a closer plug. You could use any plastic bin. With this, you pay for convenience.

This cold brew system was really easy to clean and set up! I was really impressed with how much iced coffee it made at a time and how easy it was to store after! The coffee has a good flavor and is a nice smooth medium brew! I was worried it would be too strong after letting it brew overnight for about 24 hours.

The toddy system is super easy to use and comes with a pitcher and some filter bags. The cost is very reasonable and should not be blown off. The fact that it is compactable is a bonus.
