Time Warner Cable
- "For years, I just lived without cable so I didn't have to deal with their terrible customer service, price gouging and boxes that never worked." in 19 reviews
Time Warner is one of the only options I have for internet and cable so unfortunately besides using my local provider (which is even worse) I have to use them. Everything is spotty; from cable service to my DVR starting to record shows at the correct time. The internet is spotty also which is frustrating.
The service is awful, the internet constantly goes in and out. The cable box is always rebooting and takes forever to come back on. Its very pricey for what you get, the customer service is terrible, I would not recommend this cable/internet/phone to anyone.
Unfortunately in my area Time Warner is the only one I can use for my home internet use...this is disappointing. I've been with them close to 10 years and I really can't stand them :( From horrible customer service and inaccurate information that ruined my Olympic-watching experience, to a ridiculous bill that is more expensive than the worth of the product. I would NOT recommend Time Warner to anyone for anything at all!
They were so good but now there spectrum and I don't know how they are now I love time warner.
Time Warner is the worst. I have had issues in the past that I have had to call about and was on the phone for over an hour. They are overpriced for a mediocre product. I wish we had a better competitor in my area.
I have actually been thinking of changing, I o not know yet as to which company I will end up going with. The reason I am giving them such a low score is because I asked if there were any good rates on TV & Internet. I was told to have TV & Internet would cost me at least 30-40 dollars more a month? The plan I am on now is TV & Internet & Phone. Doesn't make sense since they are changing the name I am guessig a new owner? If so they are probably going to lose a customer of at least 30yrs.
I'll start with a positive and say that since they have updated some of their practices, it has gotten a little better. They have a short window of when they will show up--usually an hour or two range. Dealing with their customer service after they set you up though is terrible. Most of their representatives are hard to understand and are out of the country. If you want help sometimes it's just easier to go into the local office which takes up time not all of us have.
The Internet is fast but I feel like it's too pricey. We didn't have cable just wifi and the bill was too high.. Overall it's okay, it's better than others companies.
not that many channels in the basic plans, it does the job, mostly if you have kind the can wacht their cartoons
Love the costumer call back and the online help along with a real live technician as well as I wouldn't change my service for no one.... lovely service even on rainy days
