Time Warner Cable
- "For years, I just lived without cable so I didn't have to deal with their terrible customer service, price gouging and boxes that never worked." in 19 reviews
I haven't been to happy with TWC since I moved 9 months ago. The workers are ok and do a good job but the service is highly overpriced. I have times of no service and just don't know how they can change the customers so much. I don't know that at this time if I would recommend this service to friends or family.
The Internet is steady with very little trouble even during storms. The price was very reasonable. My only problem is we have their very basic cable package and we generally have the "no signal" notice come up on our TV and we have to either wait a bit for the signal to come back on or reboot our cable TV box.
We had Time Warner Cable for eight years now and we really hadn't had any problems with it. We pay for the channels or bundle we want and the internet speed we want. We have the highest speed they offer and it is actually really fast even with six people using devices all at the same time. I would recommend it.
I like Time Warner. It is by far the best out here right now for internet and cable. Only thing I do not like is the customer service and their nasty attitudes when you are having a problem. They know you rely on them and so they are not concerned with quality of service or doing things in a timely fashion.
I hate TWC. I have never had such a repeatedly bad experience with a company like I have with TWC. Multiple missed appointments, unhelpful customer service and rude technicians (don't get me wrong I've had few good encounters as well) but comparatively there is no comparison. I am happy to say haven't used them in a couple of years and I'm glad I never have to hear, "have you unplugged the cord and plugged it back in?" Again.
There prices are just way to high! The service is beyond horrible, and customer service is little to never helpful. They promise you one thing and then add fees and charges You are unaware of. Wouldn't recommend to anyone unless they start doing some tremendous changes within the company to better the clients.
Time warner cable is overpriced, overcharging and has not so great customer service! the pros are that theres some okay channel options the cons are that you have to pay extra for everything and the prices are ridiculously high everything about the company is a con, my recommendation is to switch providers!
I have never really felt completely satisfied with TWC customer service. It took a year to finally figure out that my wireless signal was weak and frequently dropping because I didn't have the proper modem; I was only informed of this after having an appointment set-up with an outside contractor. The modem I was given by TWC did not work effectively. Now that I have purchased a new modem, the issues with my wireless connection have been resolved, but it would have been nice to have been given that solution the countless times I had spoken with TWC representatives over the phone.
Decent service provider never have any trouble with customer service. but boy do they send out gobs and gobs of junk mail. i get literally one thing from them every day some with an actual name and some with just current resident they should really keep better track of how much they send out its such a waste
Our cable service, like our experience with customer service, is hit or miss. We have all three services bundled, and not a month goes by that we don't have to call with a technical issue, incorrect bill, or request a service call. We often have to continue calling about an issue that was apparently previously resolved. We have problems with our service probably at least once a week. If we had a choice, we would switch in a heartbeat!
