It works great. The turtle loves it. We had to get a new screen for the top instead of a lid, but it works great otherwise.

The bulbs give off a great amount of heat to keep my babies happy & they LOVED sitting on the rock. I noticed they spent a lot of their time sitting on the rock rather than being in the water. Thrive dome was recieved for free by voxbox influencer, however we have been using this style for the past several years for our bearded dragon. it keepa him balanced with heat for the day and night settings, switches and cords hold up with repeated use. the metal shade does get VERY hot so it should be safely mounted and away from combustibles. children should be supervised. it is a great valued product, definately our top choice!
