I quite liked the deep dome for my 75 gallon terrarium. It makes it easier for the basking bulb to spread the heat. They are pretty durable, we’ve only had to replace it once in the 4 years we’ve had our bearded dragons.

i’ve been using mine for about 2 years with no problems! have gone through a couple light bulbs but that’s normal. i use the red 75w ones for this, 100 is def too strong for my frogs. 75 heats up my tank to a perfect temp for them!

Being in the reptile business we are always looking for new ways to heat the animals in a safe way. This way you do not have to worry about their bellies burning by using a heat pad. This is an affordable way to heat your reptile without worry. With the perfect bulb the dome doesn’t get to hot. The dome so far seems very sturdy and durable, I have even dropped the dome (without a bulb) and it is still holding strong without scratches or anything broken. Thank you Influenster for letting me test this dome. I think we found our new heat source for our reptile!
