Wonderful acting my Anthony Hopkins. I liked his character and wanted him to survive. It had you guessing until the end. I liked the scene where he escaped. Clever. I’ve watched it many times. It is worth watching.

One of my favorite movies. Silence of the Lambs. The expense of seeing people die and people things popping out at you. It really got me when he cut the man's skull off and had his brain showing. And then he was eating his own brains as he brought it in his face

One of the BEST horror movies I have ever seen.  Well though out and you could never figure out the ending.  That is what makes a good movie to me.  If the ending is a suprise and I was unable to figure it out, then it's good.  If you have not seen this movie, you are missing out.

Perfect 2-disk package for the murder mystery lover. Misery, a classic creepy film staring the ever-talented Kathy Bates & James Caan. James Caan is a writer who is taken in by "his BIGGEST fan" after becoming injured in a car accident. Of course, Annie (Bates) plans of keeping him there the rest of his life to write her favorite books, staring main character Misery.

Silence of the Lambs is a little more graphic & is definitely not for the faint of heart. FBI agent Clarice Starling (Jody Foster) is interviewing "Hannibal the Cannibal", Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins), who is locked up in a maximum security facility & serving a sentence for eating his patients. Dr. Lecter is supposed to be giving insight on a new serial killer, "Buffalo Bill". Little does anyone know, Dr. Lecter won't be locked up for much longer, & Agent Starling may have to follow the Buffalo Bill leads all on her own...

Stephen Kings Misery and The Silence of the Lambs combo disc set. Two amazing classics in any horror thriller collection. Both very iconic great films everyone should experience. Misery is a story about a woman who is a crazed fan of an author whom she 'rescues' after a car accident and decides to keep him and force him to write a new book for her. The silence of the lambs follows a new FBI agent as she tries to unravel one of the countries most elusive and popular serial killers with the help of the famed Dr. Lectar. Both are amazing. I prefer the bluray version but this is still a great set and available on Amazon.

One of the best movies I've ever seen and I've read the book. The killer was fashioned from several real serial killers (Ed Gein being the most noteworthy) and of course the profiling was dead-on. The casting was absolutely perfect and Sir Anthony Hopkins still gives me the willies as Lecter. To this day if this is on, I'll watch it. I remember it being the first movie I ever watched that accurately portrayed death. The mood of the film is almost palpable. It keeps you on edge until the very end...and then thrown that curve ball at you.

Silence of the Lambs is one of the most chilling movies of all time. If you're a true horror fan and haven't see this, I don't know what you're doing. It's very appropriate that this is packaged with Misery which is another psychological mind trip about an author and a very....devoted fan. It's Stephen King so it's an AMAZING read, but it's very much worth watching Kathy Bates in all her crazed glory.

Two wonderfully directed and scripted movies. Misery is heart wrenching and hard to watch at times for the suspense but the story is classic. The screen adaptation of Tom Harris' Silence of The Lambs was absolutely astonishing! No one except for Hopkins could play Lecter so terrifyingly close to how you imagined while turning each page of the novel.

Two great movies in one great pack! Admittedly the combo does seem a little odd. However, both films are wonderful works of horror. Misery delivers a slow burn of menace while Silence of the Lambs combines psychological creepiness and gore. Both films feature truly evil villains. A great pack for fans of horror and suspense.
