This is definitely a book everyone should read! It is a harder read for some who don’t read a lot but it is a classic and should be completed!

First off this isnt a romance with a happy ending, so get that out of your mind. This is a heart renching tale of adultery, deceit, shame, and wonder. You pick up the story after The main character, Hester has her baby. Did i mention this is in puritain times and this baby is the product of an affair? Seems juicy so far right? We get to follow this tail of a once proud woman who watches her Pearl, grow into an other worldly seeming child. We follow the characters through a tale of dark forbbidden love and passion only to see what divine judgement befalls the characters. It is worth the time taken to read a classic and take what you will from this story.
