I really like this foundation! I knew I wanted something more lightweight and with a buidlable coverage, but that still had a natural finish. The Ordinary Serum Foundation smooths and evens my skin so well that I get compliments on my makeup every time I wear it! The one thing I have noticed with the formula is that you really need to set it— either with setting spray and/or powder — in order for it not to transfer or separate. I have mainly normal skin with an oily T-Zone so most of the time I try to just use setting spray but on really hot days or long days, I also use powder just to make sure it will hold throughout the day. The packaging is very professional and clean and I love that is has a locking pump (it twists and locks so it won’t spill everywhere). Shipping was also pretty fast; I got my package within about a week and a half! Overall for the price and smooth texture of this foundation, it’s a WINNER! (I am shade 3.1 Y) 🌹

I probably should give this foundation another chance in a different color. Ordering online from Beautylish I always have issues color matching, and by the time this came in my summer tan had begun to fade so I was a completely different color. However, to me this shade was straight up yellow. I blended it out with lighter concealer to try and make it wearable, and at first I did like the finish. I used it in combination with their priming serum and hoped that would be the moisture my skin needed, but throughout the day it settled weird on my face and look cakey. It definitely didn’t wear well for me, but maybe I’ll give it another try in the summer when my skin is less dry. Also heard the Ordinary is now coming to Sephora, so maybe I can test out a better shade.

I absolutely love this foundation. I got it in the shade 1.1 P and it matches me perfectly. I've been looking for a barely there foundation that still looks like skin for a long time and this is it! You can use a thin layer of it to blur blemishes and even skin tone, or you can build it up to more coverage. I like to use it to even my skin tone and then I use a heavier concealer to hide any noticeable blemishes. It stayed looking fresh all day, but you might want to set it a little if you have an oily t-zone.

OMG, this foundation is awesome.  I have dry skin and have started to experience an increase in hyper-pigmentation as well.  So i started a very serious skin care regimen as I didn't want to add more product to cover up my skin problems but wanted to address them.  After getting my skin healthy I was on the hunt for a good foundation.  I did some research, read some reviews and decided to try the Serum Foundation from the Ordinary.  My skin loved it.  This foundation comes in a wide variety of shades, it's not heavy on the skin and the price point is wonderful.  You've got to give it a try!

I love this foundation! It’s lightweight but buildable and covers my dark areas very well! The color match is perfect (these foundations have a high concentration of undertones so they match more skin tones than you’d think). It has a beautiful natural finish and I always get compliments when I wear it! I will say that you do have to set it (powder and setting spray work great) in order for it not to separate but other than that, it is my favorite foundation! 🌹

I’m on the fence about this, I would give it maybe 3 and a half stars, I like the range of undertones available but the foundation is very oily but that doesn’t translate to dewy or hydrated and the pigment settles into any line or dry patch.

The very first time I tried this, I fell in love! It’s lightweight and blends easily. It has great buildable medium coverage. A lot more than any other Serum foundation I’ve tried. It dries down with a sheen like natural skin. It doesn’t look overdone or cakey, even when powdered. (I use setting spray though). I’ve got aging skin, fine lines, can be dry at times, and I use this everyday. I try to use other foundations but they just don’t compare anymore. Thank you #theordinary ! #influenster The Ordinary Serum Foundation

This is a very light formula like a BB cream, but way more coverage. I would even say if you were to set this with a powder foundation, it would be full coverage. What I really love about the shade range is that according to the website, everyone has a few shades that can be your perfect match. Knowing that it’s flexible makes ordering confidently so much easier. It’s very forgiving, no harsh smells, blends easily and doesn’t irritate sensitive skin. Remember to shake before each application!

This is a great everyday light foundation. If you already have a smooth face and just want to even out skin tone with an almost matt finish then this is the foundation for you! I use it during the summer over a primer when I don’t want to have on any heavy make up and just want to cover up any redness. I love the pump design as it makes dispensing very easy and fast. It won’t cover up acnes scars/dark circles. The foundation is pretty long lasting and wears well throughout the day!

First of all, I love the consistency of this foundation. It spreads easily and I only have to use a little bit to cover my entire face. I do wish it had SLIGHTLY more coverage but its perfect for those days where you want to wear minimal makeup! I have dry skin and it leaves me with a natural dewy look all day long. Occasionally I'll need to blot my t-zone or dust on a little matte powder around lunchtime, but not always. I usually don't wear this foundation with primer.

The Ordinary Serum Foundation Can anyone tell me if The Ordinary's cover/serum foundations are worth the long waiting list?! The hype surrounding them is unreal!
