I've heard rave reviews, but my skin experience is terrible.
+ Liquid texture is milky white, has a slight sour smell, sticky, long-lasting. Besides this, she often creates white foam on the skin.
+ I have been using it for about 2 days, then I have irritation and acne, so I have not dared to use it until now.
I love a good occlusive, but prefer my facial oils to be lightweight and this rosehip oil is perfect. It absorbs fast and my skin feels more hydrated throughout the day when added to my routine.
TOs rose hip seed oil is the best face oil I have used. My routine consists of TO face wash and TO moisturizer with HA and then this oil at night. It definitely helped my dullness and complexion.
This may be my favorite product from The Ordinary. My skin loves it! Gives face a natural glow. Moisturizing. No irritation. Other brands of this oil have a yellow-peachy color to them that gives your face a weird cast while wearing it. This oil looks the same color in bottle but absorbs and does not make your face yellow.
I love this for my very dry full skin. I apply at night over my moisturizer. I wake up the next day with a lovely glow and not super oily. Highly recommend and for the price you can’t beat it!
Look no further, this rose hip seed oil has blown my mind for years. It’s in my daily morning and night time routine. It’s so hydrating and keeps my skin supple, young & fresh. This product is 100% clean.
I just started using The Ordinary Rose Hip seed oil. It’s only been one week and I use it after cleansing in the evening. So far I’m really liking it. A little goes a long way, maybe 1-2 drops for my face and 1 for my neck and 1 for my décolletage. I’m only 32 but am trying to take a more active role in preventative care for my skin. I wake up well hydrated and my skin has literally transformed in a week with this plus some of their other products.
Very impressed with TO's Rosehip Oil. I've used many in the past but none with this texture. When I apply this (3 drops on a night time) it sinks in within seconds as though it was never there! It doesn't even 'feel' like an oil when applying, almost like a water-in-oil. Hard to describe and something you can only appreciate once you've tried it for yourself. Having said that, I believe it depends on the batch you get as there are natural variations in aroma, color and texture with each one. Mine was 1B02 which is printed in blue ink near the bottom of the bottle, on the glass itself. Also unlike other Rosehip oils I've used in the past, this one doesn't smell of anything unless I really put my nose up close and even then it's very faint. As for the benefits, I love the hydration I get from this and how it gradually fades acne marks. Love the simple fuss-free packaging and easy to use dropper that allows for a measured, precise dispensing of the oil. The only thing I don't like, having a few TO products in rotation is that they all look identical at a glance and I've often started to apply one before realizing it isn't what I thought it was. The writing on the label is also quite small which doesn't help. But these are minor points, the bottom line is it works and is UNIQUE compared to the many Rosehip oils I've used over the years. I'm just hoping batch 1B02 wasn't a one-off and this quality is maintained in future batches! --> My Top 10 Beauty Must-Haves <-- 1. Hair Loss Treatment: ‘Divine Herbal’ - Hair Oil < 2. I love keeping a rose of oil in my skincare routine. I was having trouble finding one for a while that was both affordable and contained rosehip oil rather than a carrier oil. This is the best of all worlds and I love how it leaves my face feeling hydrated and bright the next day.
I've been using this as a hydrator ever since my Dermatologist reccomended it while I was on accutane. I didn't dry out once and continued to use it after I was on accutane, going on 3 years. I wish they made a bigger bottle!
