Dolce & Gabbana The One EDP is, without a doubt, a stunning fragrance. The scent profile itself is a solid 5 out of 5 stars. It's warm, subtly sweet, a little bit tobacco-y, and just incredibly sophisticated and addictive. It truly lives up to its name and is a guaranteed compliment-puller, perfect for date nights or cooler weather. The major caveat is the longevity. This is where I have to knock off a full star. For an Eau de Parfum, it's just disappointing. It projects nicely for the first hour or two, but then it quickly becomes a subtle skin scent, and completely vanishes by the 4-5 hour mark. You'll definitely need to reapply if you want it to last through an evening. If you don't mind carrying a decant and refreshing the spray, the scent is absolutely worth the price. But for those who expect all-day performance from an EDP, be prepared for beautiful, brief bliss. Overall rating: 4/5 stars.
