This is a decent rewards program. I enjoy saving money on gas while shopping like I usually do. At the very least I save .05 a gallon.
I love using this rewards program. I still buy normal things I need and then save money at the tank when fueling up.
Most off the stations that do accept the fuel rewards program mark up their prices! Super frustrating.
I love this reward program! They have updated & improved it! So now u don't necessarily have to shop at giant just to get points! U automatically become a gold status member with just signing up! Which is a guaranteed 5 cents off every time u pump! U get extra off when u link ur credit/debit card to the account. More when u just download there app and when u refer friends! With the updated program I have had 35 cents off so far! Which is great for me!!! Who doesn't love to save on gas?! I would definitely recommend this to everyone! My link to get started will be in my bio, if anyone wants to sign up & start saving on gas!
First the whole program is confusing! Your gas purchases do NOT count toward any savings on future gas purchases... or at least that's what I gathered from their website.Drove out of our way to purchase Shell gas since I just received the card from Influester and was under the impression I would get a discount on the first purchase. Hubby forgot to take the card in so I jumped out and was gonna scan at the pump and by the time I got the card turned around correctly the option to scan popped off of the screen. I then went in real quick before husband pumped the gas to see if they could apply the card to our purchase. The cashier was extremely rude and said No, that hubby should have brought it in to start with. So I went back out and had him pump our gas. Still unclear of how the program worked I thought maybe if I got the receipt and called them they could credit my purchase... especially since I was buying $70 worth of gas. I then went inside to get the receipt and again the cashier was again rude to me but finally I got the receipt. I then called the number on the back of the card but after being on hold several minutes I decided to hang up because I was so irritated and felt it was best to wait until the next day. The next morning I first posted a comment on their facebook page about my experience and someone replied back quickly and friendly saying to call the CS number and that they were aware of my experience and would help me. So feeling encouraged I called the number and was connected to a man whom I guess didn't want to be bothered that day. I couldn't get much out of him about how the program worked. He did tell me that he couldn't credit my purchase. So I told him that if my gas purchases didn't save me any money later than what was the use in having the card and that I would just throw it in the trash. He said ok and we hung up! I can understand that my gas purchase didn't count toward future savings but all they had to do was explain it to me but no one bothered . I will definitely avoid all Shell stations in the future!
Getting a fuel network rewards card is so worth it. Not all has stations off discount to their customers for using their gas and being a loyal customers but as soon as I found out Shell was offering a rewards card. I signed up right away. I have a shell gas station right by my parents house back home that I go to all the time and any time I can save money it's so worth it!
I've had my fuel rewards card for about a year and I'm shocked no one knows about this! I save at least 3¢ and sometimes 5¢ per gallon with every fill up and it's totally free! A great way to save and have your receipts emailed to you
I first found an ad for this a few years ago on a freebie site, but it's definitely been worth it. It saves a few cents per gallon, and it adds up pretty fast in savings, especially over time. You get more rewards just for using it.
It's super easy to save money with this program. I don't even have a physical card but with the app and my phone number I can be rewarded every time I fill up. Overall it's the simples gas rewards it there and it's free!
I got this in my TLC VoxBox for testing purposes. Well, the idea is good, but the execution; wonky. You do save $0.03 a gallon automatically, which is nice, but not much, really when you look at the price of gas. You can earn more, but to do that, you've gotta link your credit/debit cards, and also shop in store.Well, the only reason I go to a gas station is to get gas, and I can't earn any rewards on all the gas I'm buying, and as I'm spending so much money on gas, and not buying a bunch of soda and candy bars, I think I should be rewarded for going to their gas station for buying gas.Not having them trying to make me to go inside to get any rewards. That would be inconvenient. What's the convenience of "pay at pump" if you have to get out to go buy something you don't need to earn the rewards? They should just let you earn rewards for the reason we're there in the first place, to buy gas. Also,I don't like having my other cards connected to this, so I won't do it. I can only seem to earn up to $0.25 off/gallon with this, with my grocery rewards, I can earn $1/gallon off. That's much easier
