I’ve got fine, high porosity, 2c curly/wavy hair that tangles super easily no matter what. I used a plastic drugstore brush I got in 4th grade for 25 years until one day…I lost it. It was the only brush I could use to detangle my hair in the shower. I’ve tried so many replacements, run the gamut of price ranges, but nothing was gentle or effective enough. Got to the point I totally changed my routine to detangle my hair dry, which isn’t ideal for my hair type. I found this brush on Walmart and wasn’t expecting much, but OMG — it’s amazing! It’s like I found my old brush but even better! The bristles are firm but flexible, so they glide thru tangles vs breaking or getting stuck. The brush seems like it’s is all one piece, and the bristles are smooth (no ball on tip), so there’s nothing for my hair to snag on. It applies/spreads product SUPER well in showering too. Works great on dry hair. Easy to clean. Super lightweight. Can’t say enough good things!!

This is a great brush ! I realized how old my previous hairbrush was. I was so thrilled to find a brush for thin fine hair to prevent breakage. It makes my hair look so much smoother. It feels great detangling wet or dry. I didn't consider that hair brushes could be different but this is such a step up and I'm super happy I got one.

I have really fine wavy hair so my hair gets tangled really easily and poofs out when I brush my hair. Although I would not recommend this hair brush for getting really big tangles out it does work and helps my hair not poor up when I brush it dry. But it is gentle on my hair and doesn’t cause breakage. The color is also very fun and summery! While I don’t think this is best brush out there it does work amazingly!
