Personally, I think the concept is creepy; however, my kids love it. The elf (Tinsel) is made well. He’s easy to move around. I wish his arms and legs were posable, though. It can sometimes be hard to get him to stay in certain areas. Overall, my kids look forward to him visiting every year.

I have had this elf for 20years now. He is the original elf from 2005 and is SO loved. He has been not only a classroom elf, but a home elf too. He is not built like the newer ones (you can feel the cardboard in his legs) and he doesn’t have the same “chunky” body however he has lasted 20yrs without falling apart which I think shows the quality of the stitching on him. We will have him for years to come!

The most Christmas fun for little kids ! We’ve collected a few of these over the years with accessories but it all started with the OG boy elf on the shelf . They love the book that comes with them as well. My kids look forward to their elf coming up every December and love to see what new things they will be up to everyday . It’s become one of their favorite traditions ! We’ve had ours for over 5 years and they have held up so nicely , they are so durable . They are easy to store away until next year as well.
