Elf on the Shelf has become one of our favorite Christmas traditions. We used one of the activity kits, and loved it so much that we actually ended up buying a second elf because the kids were that into it. The kit made everything so easy while still letting us get creative. We mixed in funny, simple setups with more planned scenes using things around the house, and the kids looked forward to finding the elf every single morning. It added so much excitement and magic to December without feeling stressful or time-consuming as a parent. I love how it creates daily moments of joy and laughter and becomes something the whole family talks about. This is the perfect starter set for your Elf on the Shelf collection! My elves are reading the book right now, it’s a super cute well-made story and book. The elf is adorable and I love that they come with different skin tones and genders although I would love to see one that is non-binary. This one is in a traveling case currently! The box itself is super well-made and an adorable gift as well. They are wonderful quality and have plenty of accessories to go with. I like them to be a bit more affordable, but other than that, they are magical and adorable!

I have had this elf for 19 years now. She is the original elf from 2006 and is SO loved. She has been not only a classroom elf, but a home elf too. She is not built like the newer ones (you can feel the cardboard in her legs) and she doesn’t have the same “chunky” body however she has lasted 19 years without falling apart which I think shows the quality of the stitching on her. We will have her for years to come!
