I purchased my cup years ago and was nervous to use it, until one cycle I didn’t have any tampons and didn’t/couldn’t go to the store. Boy oh BOY do I wish I started sooner!!!! This thing is life changing. Seriously. It’s not as complex as it seems and is extremely easy to use (and clean). I watched a few videos and read advice online and that was the end of it. It’s comfortable and fits well - no irritation. You may have to try a few attempts to perfect/learn what insertion works best for your body. You’ll absolutely feel or hear the seal, if not, try again. I only experience leakage at night when sleeping, but the clean up is miles easier than a tampon that was bled through hours ago. I can’t recommend this enough and have been telling all my friends to make the switch.

I didn’t used to have a heavy flow so I could wear the diva cup for…a long time. Now that it’s heavier I still use it but just empty it more often. It’s sustainable and I can keep much closer track of my cycle. (not posting a pic because well it’s well used and that’s uncomfortable)

(Or at least take back the average 3,000 days women spend on their period over a lifetime) I was a skeptic before trying a menstrual cup. But what I’ve gained since switching over is priceless. It feels significantly less wasteful (bye bye not-so-discreet tightly wound rolls of toilet paper in the trash can (IYKYK)) than pads and tampons, you can go longer hours without needing a change or refresh. But the real life changer is the sense of freedom the menstrual cup provides. When inserted properly (it’ll take a few tries, maybe a few tears, and probably at least one emotional support phone call) you can go many leak proof hours, even with rigorous activity. I’ve never once had to let my flow stop me from partaking in fun activities since switching over. They are easy to clean between each use and cycle and take up far less space than storing packs of pads and tampons. Making the switch to a menstrual cup helped make that week of the month far more bearable and honestly all of us ladies deserve that. *photo is of a brand new cup
