THE BLUE BUFFALO CO. BLUE™ Life Protection Formula® Chicken and Brown Rice Recipe For Small Breed Senior Dogs
I have a 14 year old Pomeranian and this is his absolute favorite. He’s been on Blue Buffalo for 4 years. I’ve tried other brands after, but I would find his bowl flipped over. Just went for a check up and the vet said he’s in great shape for his age. Thanks Blue Buffalo!
I just switch to the senior small dog versus the regular small dog because my dogs are getting up there in age. My dog has severe stomach and IBS. This is one of the foods she can eat without a severe issue.
I have been giving Monster, my Yorkshire terrier, Blue Buffalo since he was a baby. It not only helps keep him healthy, but he genuinely gets excited when I pour it into his bowl. He has a tendency of getting calcium stones and dehydrated from lack of vitamis, and Blue Buffalo makes sure he gets enough of what he is required to intake daily.
I have two miniature schnauzers, one that we adopted from a shelter, Major, and one that was a Mother’s Day present, Scout. Scout would always get a rash from whatever dog food he eat, and we’ve tried all of them! This is the only one that he doesn’t react to in a negative way. This was also great for Major when we transitioned him from shelter food.
I have a 13.5 year old Pomeranian who has been eating senior small bites for years and adult small breed food before that. He is so healthy and full of life and his age. It is even easy for him to eat with a few missing teeth. I highly recommend Blue Buffalo small bites for small breeds.
One of the best dog food on the market for small breed seniors. My dog is extremely picky. She will not eat just any type of dry food, she won't even eat some canned or wet foods! She spits out almost all human food (except chicken and Turkey lol). She WILL eat this food! It is expensive for dog food but worth every penny if you care about your older small breed furbaby and their health. It has quality ingredients with many healthy benefits, not those fillers and by-products like most foods on the market that focus on high quantity low price. Would highly recommend this to anyone with a small dog that isn't as spunky as they once was.
M dog consistently enjoys his meals with blue buffalo. The food really keeps him at a healthy weight. Our dog gained some weight after the past few years without as much movement as when he was a puppy. The doctor said he could afford to lose a pound. After we switched him to blue buffalo senior small breed, he lost a pound for his next visit and maintained his weight. The food is really formulated to fit the needs of a senior small breed dog. It gives him all the nutrients and protein he needs and can actually digest without turning into extra weight.
PetSmart sent me a coupon to get any small bag of food free and I've heard great reviews on Blue Buffalo, so I decided to get this for my 10 year old Dandi Dinmont Terrier. He isn't very playful or energetic due to his age, but this made him very active! He literally just started running as fast as he good from one side of the house to the other, lol! He's usually a grazer, but he sits there and eats the entire bowl of this! He loves it! If it wasn't so expensive, I would continue buying this for him.
I have noticed a substantial difference in how playful, and active my senior dog is. This dog food seems to have made a difference in her daily life. I will not be feeding her another dog food, unless I can see the same or better benefits than this one. Highly recommend
This dog food is amazing it really helps my 12 year old Chihuahua since he's getting old and has a harder time eating but since the food is small he eats it like if he was still a puppy/young .
