I thought it would be more vanilla but I mostly get a lot of spice from this fragrance. It does level out a bit after drying down then tobacco scents linger. Not for me but I can see someone else loving this.

If you like earthy herbaceous scents with a cozy spicy dry down then you’d love this. I’m more of a clean scent gal so this was a tad overwhelming for me!

Love this scent and brand. It smells similar to MLM No.4 and Le Labo Santal 31, but with more vanilla, coconut, and spice. I know some people are not into the kind of sandalwood that is in it, some find it like pickles or dill - but if you like the other mentioned perfumes, you will likely love this scent. Longevity and throw and moderate. Smells niche in my opinion.

I think I would like this fragrance if I smelled it on someone else but I don't like it on myself. It does give me a headache after a while and it's just not my favorite vanilla. It does have a good throw and longevity though.

bought a full-size of Santal Vanille on a whim -- it does NOT disappoint! The myrrh note is HEAVY upon the opening, but it dries down to a gorgeous mixture of sandalwood and vanilla, with just a hint of myrrh and coconut in the background. I like it *almost* as much as Vanilla Woods, and they layer well together, too. I think Santal Vanille works better in the daytime than Vanilla Woods, but it is lovely at night as well. It's not for everybody, but, for the people is IS for, it's a real winner.

This scent to me, smells more like a candle or a home type of scent. It's not bad. I sense the coolness from the myrrh it gives it a herbal addition. Sandalwood grounding the scent and the vanilla is nice and smooth. I love that it's vegan and cruelty free, too!

I love this scent! If you like Santal 33 give this a try for the fraction of the cost,it's sweet and spicy and last about 5-6 hours on my skin great for fall this will always be in my collection.

Got the sample from [brand:sephora] when I place my order for my products it doesn't smell too bad this is not a product that would use everyday [brand:sephora] it has a smell of a older person the bottle is nice I wouldn't be a repeat buyer

If you like creamy, figgy, musky perfumes, this one is for you. It deliciously complex, with notes of musk, sandalwood, and cardamom. I'm not really a big fan of either gourmand or vanilla fragrances but this one is an absolute delight!

I thought this would be close to Santal 33 but the smell had more of vanilla to it. Which is not my personal preference
