I love tetras whisper pumps. They have lasted over a year now. Virtually no noise unlike other brands, but if something touches the housing you will hear it. They are relatively simple to set up no different than any other pump, just make sure you have your airline tubing, check valves, splitters, and flow controls already on hand and it takes maybe 2 minutes. Power consumption is as expected.

It is a great product. It's one of the quietest air pumps that I have found. The only issue that I have found is the tube slipping off of the lip of the air pump. It is a very effective and quiet product.

I been using this brand of air pumps for over 30 yrs. They last forever and when it does go out not to expensive to replace. Very quiet when running! I love that! Easy to set up and use. Can’t go wrong for an air pump!!
