TENS Unit and EMS Combination Muscle Stimulator with 2 Channels, 12 Modes for Pain Management for Back, Neck, Arms, Legs, Abs, Arthritis and Sciatic Pain Relief and Rehabilitation this is a powerful little TENS Unit that can pack a good punch and hold a charge. It includes 6 electrode gel pads one set of small gel pads (1 & 1/2 inch oval shaped) one medium size (approximately 2 & 1/2 inches around) and one large-ish size (about 2 & 1/2 by 3 inches), which you should keep in a plastic ziplock bag when not in use so the gel does not dry out, because they need to be sticky. to conduct the electric current. Also don’t use lotion on your skin, at least not on the area you’ll be stimming. There’s only 2 channels, so you can only stim two areas at one time. But the two channels operate independently of each other. So in other words channel “A” could be set on level 2, gentle massage setting on your trapezius muscles and channel “B” could be set to level 10 muscle rehabilitation on your quads. This is my first at-home stim machine, so I went in when little to no expectations but so far, I can say I’m pleasantly surprised. I liked that this particular unit was billed as dual purpose TENS/EMS— that is, it also can be used for muscle rehab, not just pain relief. I’ve only been using this TENS unit for one week though. I will have to use it consistently over a longer period of time in order to find out if it’s truly rehabilitating anything (vs just massaging the muscles) or if it can actually do something beneficial for me, long-them.
