I loved taxact mostly because it's free!! I get all my money from the gov and I don't have to pay to get it! I loved using this year for my first time I used to use turbo tax and once I found out you could do it here for free I switched!!
This past year was my first time to file my own taxes. I was quite intimidated by the idea. However, TaxACT came to my rescue with it's easy to understand and helpful instructions and clean and clear webpages. What I thought would take me 3 hours to do only took me about one hour. I will be using TaxACT to file my taxes again!
I file my personal taxes online with TurboTax! I have done this for almost 5 years now. It's so easy to use. The site literally walks you through everything and let's you know if something doesn't add up correctly or doesn't sound right. It's also shown me I was missing out on money before! I recommend this site to anyone doing their personal taxes.
I feel like although they advertise for “getting the most money back to you”, that they withhold some of your money so they can profit. Ofcourse, otherwise it wouldn’t be a running company still. Some prices are a little crazy for your taxes, depending on what service you get. I would recommend only because it’s simple to use.
I really enjoy the quick process of doing my taxes and never being audited. It saves me tons of money and time when it comes to tax season. Tax Act makes tax season less dreadful and they always have previous files available to access and this is helpful as I am a student who does FASFA each year and need easy access to that.
I have used TaxAct as long as I have been doing taxes. It is the most affordable site I have found for state taxes so far which is a huge plus. It guides you through everything you need and has explanations for each section. If you are someone who does your own taxes I would definitely go with TaxAct for ease and cost.
I take care of taxes for my mother, my fiance and myself for years and I ALWAYS use Taxact. It is so easy to use! I also love how it runs alerts at the end to make sure there are no mistakes.
I have been using TaxAct for almost a decade. It was recommended when I first started working but did make a lot of money. My refund was less than what Jackson Hewitt would have charged. It was free to file then. Now with a husband, kids, and a complex tax situation, I pay no more than $40 to file and get direct deposit.
I have been using tax act for about 7 years. There programming is very easy to use. They also give you helpful tips and a guide to maximize your refund the next year. I start mine in January because the closer to tax time the price goes up. I would highly recommend for anyone even first timers.
My mother has always used this program and now I do too with my jobs through college and now post college! They make it all super easy and tell explain what goes where! To me, it just makes it uber easy because the only way they taught us to do it in high school was the 1040 form and they never really explained the lines.
