Description

Which skin type is it good for? Normal Oily Combination Dry Sensitive A tinted treatment that awakens eyes with a pearl-like luster, hydrates, and reduces the look of dark circles and wrinkles instantly and over time. Solutions for: - Dark circles - Dullness - Fine lines and wrinkles If you want to know more…This two-in-one makeup and treatment formula breaks upon application to deliver both refreshing moisture and natural coverage for a healthy, well-rested look all day. Light-refracting pearl pigments work with Akoya pearl extract to restore radiance by helping to address the three causes of under-eye darkness: thinning skin, blue undertones, and pigmentation. The Pearl works to address dark circles, fine lines, and wrinkles by supporting natural collagen production and inhibiting hyperpigmentation. It is boosted by niacinamide, which is known to visibly brighten and firm. Silk powder smooths the look of fine lines and imperfections, while a blend of botanical extracts protects from makeup and pollution that can cause signs of aging. The lightweight cream is powered by hadasei-3, a proprietary trio of Japanese anti-aging superfoods, and hyaluronic acid nourishes and hydrates for a plump, refreshed appearance. This product is noncomedogenic, non-irritating, non-sensitizing, dermatologist tested, and cruelty-free. It is formulated without synthetic fragrances, mineral oil, sulfate detergents, urea, DEA, or TEA. The journey of The Pearl to you: cultured in cool waters off Japan, Akoya pearls are highly sought after by fine jewelry makers and are considered amongst the most precious, finest grade of pearl in the world with superior brilliance and a mirror-like quality to them. Known as nature's conditioner, they have been used by Japanese women for centuries in their beauty rituals to help inhibit pigmentation for pearl-bright, beautiful skin. The Pearl harnesses this time-tested secret, illuminating eyes with the same natural luster as this precious jewel.

I love this eye cream. I have hereditary severe dark circles. This helps lighten my under eye a little bit. I use it for no makeup days as well as under makeup. It's not concealer coverage so keep that in mind. But it does lighten the undereye quite a bit. Don't use to much, it will just end up looking like a mess. Only use a small amount (size of rice or so) with tapping motions with your ring finger to blend out. It glides on smoothly and feels great Considering it only takes a little bit, you get a fair amount of product in the container. It moisturizes my under eye area well. I have been using this since it came out & I have barely made a dent in the container. I like how it moisturizes & lightens my under eye without being a big goop mess or way to heavy under makeup. It is a must have in my skincare regimen. As for the long term effects I haven't really noticed that much of a difference visually. But if I happen to forget to put this on for a few days my eyes go back to being dry. I was skeptical at first because it was so hyped up. But it is worth it in my opinion. I will continue to use and repurchase.

I was dying for this to arrive and I tried it right away. I found it to be absolute perfection... once I figured out how to open it. By the way, no instructions on that. The emblem in the front has nothing to do with opening it. You just twist it and it won’t break doing so FYI. It’s got a lot of product packed inside and you don’t need much to dab under the eyes. It blended so beautifully with my foundation. It definitely brightened my eyes and covered my dark circles and I didn’t feel like I needed concealer on top of it. I felt my makeup to be flawless yesterday when I had it on. I’m anxious to see results of using this on a daily basis. I have severely dark circles and baggage under the eyes. This is the only product I’ve found to cover it and make it disappear. I’ve tried so many different concealers and they are either too dark or too light. I had been using Laura Mercier under eye Brightener with Nars concealer and then foundation over the top and this product did what those three attempted for me. I highly recommend it.

From the very beginning, this product seems to be a handful. As many have already mentioned, the logo in the front made it seem like it was a clasp of some sort which was to be utilized for opening the package. Nope. It’s simply there for decorative purposes. It wasn’t until I saw a tutorial on Tatcha’s Instagram stories that I knew one had to simple twist the top to get it to open.
As for the product itself, I again have to thank the Instagram story tutorial for helping me out. You first need to DOT a rice grain amount underneath the eye and any remainder product on the rest of the orbital area. Then you need to RUB it ever so gently to get the actual pigment (it initially comes out dark but after blending you’ll see it whiten and brighten). Then you need to DAB it to ensure that it melts into the skin.

Once you follow these rules, the product itself is actually quite beautiful. It’s definitely not ideal for a “low-maintenance” guy or gal.

It’s not a concealer. This is an EYE TREATMENT that is tinted. This is a great eye cream. It has a great brightening effect, as well. The base formula of The Pearl is the Water Cream. It has Akoya Pearl pigments - which is where the light refraction or brightening power comes from. I went in depth on my review on my channel if you’d like more information my channel is Erika Approved on YouTube.

I was disappointed. I usually enjoy Tatcha products, however this in particular was kinda floppy to me. It felt oily on my skin & instantly sunk into the smile lines on my face. It doesn't have an unpleasant look to it & the packaging is pretty cute, however there isn't a barrier between the product & that could definitely make things quite messy. It smells ok, not like chemicals. However, it did absolutely nothing for my skin, lines, or coloration aside from act as a water + oil mix spritz on my face.

I recently picked up this product from Sephora. The price is a little up there around $49 but it is totally worth it. The packaging is beautiful! A magical purple Pokémon ball!! The product is very creamy once you start to apply it. It gives the under eye a beautiful brightening glow. This could be worn alone however I did wear tarte shape tape concealer. My concealer didn't crease and my makeup wore great all day. You only need a really tiny amount. The first time I wore it I applied too much product and my concealer did look a little heavy but when I tried it again using less product I LOVE!! This is definitely worth the buy! Okay so I just want to start off by saying that I first saw this during the launch event on trendmood’s story in IG and I had to have it especially when I heard that the water cream was the base of the product because the water cream is my holy grail moisturizer. It just so happened to launch during the VIB sale and I grabbed it right away. I love it! It truly does brighten up your under eye and it does not crease. You only need a very little amount as it goes a long way. I can’t wait to see the benefits I get from it. The packaging is so beautiful! I’m obsessed with Tatcha skincare! Definitely recommend this product!

I’m such a huge fan of tatcha products, that when I heard about the pearl I was counting down the days 🤩🤩the packaging is as beautiful as we’ve come to expect from tatcha.the pearl really brightens beautifully and visibly. I used a rice grain-sized amount in the lightest of the three available hues (Moonlight) and dotted under the undereye. I smoothed out the product by pressing it in from the inner corner to the outside of the eye, taking it all the way to my hairline. It instantly illuminated, emitting a pearlescent radiance.

I also love that it’s a treatment that improves the undereye over time, with hyaluronic acid and other botanical extracts.

I have had this since the summer and I’m telling you I haven’t even put a dent in it, and I use it almost everyday. You don’t need too much to make your under eye look flawless! I use a small brush to put less than a pea sized amount under my eyes and then use the brush to slightly blend it but use my fingers for the rest- that’s the trick! I highly recommend this product. It also looks completely natural- I use it when I’m wearing no makeup to brighten up my eyes and you can’t even tell its makeup!

This is my go to for “no makeup” makeup days. You can of course wear it every day, but, for me this is what I love it for. Once you get the hang of how to apply it perfectly...this is a gem! I almost gave up on it after a couple of uses until I saw a YouTuber show me that I had been applying it wrong. You can not apply this like a typical concealer. It will NOT work. You have to use the tap then swipe motion...it really is amazing stuff! I’m sure this would work great under other concealer for heavier makeup days...I’m just too lazy for that extra step! 😊
