This serum is made with maracuja oil, which is a type of Passion fruit.

I was looking for a daily moisturizer that had had anti-aging properties. I’m 33 years old and although I do not have any wrinkles, I can see fine lines starting so I want to start using anti aging products now before I do get deep set wrinkles.

I was told the miracle of the maracuja oil. I was skeptical about putting oil on my face, but I’m a hold your breath and dive in type of person. So I spent the $50 on this oil (ouch!!!).

I was told to put it on and then apply my makeup on top of it, once again I was skeptical of putting makeup on top of oil, but I did as instructed. Oh boy...bu the end of the day my foundation was streaky looking and I swear the oil was a magnet for my mascara, I would always have my mascara smearing under my eyes!

Upon reading more about Maracuja Oil, it is best used as a night serum NOT as a daily moisturizer to put under makeup.

I’m giving it 3 stars because I def think it hydrates and softens, however at $50 for a bottle, I would have expected even better results and more use than just at night.

I have used other products that were half the price that definitely performed better and had more uses.

I love both the original of this and this one! Seriously I cannot makeup without these! I had to skip using a lot of different foundations cause they were too drying on my dry skin and powder was also drying me out too, since seeing Kim Kardashian’s make up artist uses this so that the powders don’t dry out your skin, I bought a bottle the next day and the rest is history! If you have dry skin or problems with your powder looking very dry, you HAVE to get this! Sephora often lets you cash your points in for a deluxe size, that’s what I did the first time and it was worth it ever since!

I bought this a while ago and decided to use it this weekend. I was a bit fearful that I would turn orange and splotchy from reading other reviews, hence why I've waited so long to give this a try. I'm happy to say that I've had a great experience with the Tarte Maracuja Bronzing Oil! It has given me a true healthy golden look. When I put it on my face it isn't a gross feeling. My face doesn't look or feel greasy at all. I actually put it on at night and still wanted a little more color (I'm very fair), so I just put another layer on without washing my face when I got up. Hours later, I now have the desired color to match the rest of my body. It does have the normal smell of self tanning lotion...wish that wasn't the case however, the color payoff is definitely worth it. I plan to keep using this throughout the summer now!!! So glad I tried it!! It's a beautiful color!!

This serum is from jesus himself 😍🙌 it leaves my skin sooooo soft, and it has the nicest tint to it. It leaves my skin looking so good, and feeling so good! This is also great to use on your neck and shoulders, well worth every single penny and a little goes a long way!

So I have been using this oil for about a week now. I use it at night right after washing my face. It definitely doesn’t give you a deep tan, but a really lovely bronze glow, which is just what my pale sun starved skin needs! The only reason I am giving this product 4 instead of 5 stars is because it does have a slightly annoying tanner smell. It doesn’t bother me too much, but my husband doesn’t like it at all, so I might stop using it, but im hoping he gets used to it! Haha

I can’t tell if this is bronzing my skin or not. I’ll have to keep testing it out. There is great skincare benefits with maracuja oil. This does have a weird smell but if it helps my skin, I’m all for it. I also love the packaging.

I really like this product. It goes on nice and light and I like the way it smells. It has a “tanner” smell to it and also sort of smells like coconuts or a beach scent to me. It isn’t super great on oily or acne prone skin but it does tan your face and hydrate the skin. The color it gives isn’t too orange either. tarte Maracuja Bronzing Serum

I received a sample a while ago. It worked well for moisturizing in the winter months (especially my lips), but wasn’t remarkable enough for me to buy again. I don’t have very dry skin, but liked the Dewey finish.

Again, my skin is oily but I am very adventurous with beauty products and always learning more. I did some what enjoy this though, make sure not to use a lot but yeah I enjoyed it. Def would work more swimmingly with someone with dryer skin

I have this serum, but I'm not sure when to apply it. Should I use it as a regural serum even if it "bronze" the skin?
