Very thick foundation. Does not glide easily onto the skin and because it is so thick, it does not blend easily and become one with the skin. Felt more like it sat on top of my skin. Also immediately after applied to the skin, the foundation seemed to oxidize and darken on me. I also had issues with the foundation bunching on certain areas of my face like my forehead and around my nose. Overall, my experience with this foundation was terrible.

This really looks good on my skin tone and my face looks flawless with this foundation. My skin gets a little cakey around my Tzone due to my oily skin and that is why I gave it 4 stars. Other than that it applies great, lasts most of the day and is a perfect match to my skin tone! tarte Clay Stick Foundation

I am not he biggest fan of this foundation and don’t recommend it. It worked for me at first but it started to exasperate my pores and define my harsh lines. It also moved around a lot no matter what setting powder spray or primer I used. I do not recommend this. It is also 39$ which I find ridiculously expensive considering the performance of the product. Do not recommend.
I love this foundation! It applies very quickly and evenly i can build it to pretty good coverage; I'd say high-medium. It's a satiny finish, not fully matte but not too luminous. I actually prefer matte but satin is nice, too. It also lasts pretty well. I have combo skin and there's some wear on/ around my nose area by the end of my 12 hour shift but it's not too noticeable without a magnifying mirror.
I purchased this as part of Tarte’s 6-for-$68 sale. This is a good product but ended up not being right for me. I have dry skin and this is designed for those with more oily skin, I think. I experienced some tugging as I tried to blend it out and patchy coverage. However I think that’s due to my particular skin needs and not a flaw in this foundation.

Not good i didn’t think my skin was too dry until i tried this foundation. this fojndation clung to my dry skin no matter how exfoliated and hydrated my skin was! so sad because it’s $39 and not cheap. not for everyone to be honest.

Seriously, it is my staple foundation and it will be for a long time! It is one of the few foundations that match my skin tone and it so easy to use. It takes only like a minute to apply and blend. I also want to put it out there that this is almost full coverage without it being too cakey. Definitely buy this, because you will get your money's worth!

This one is not for dry skin. It looked very patchy and cling to every dry area I had. I’ve tried using it with oils which was a bit better at first but then still got dry and clingy as the day went on. This does have a pretty finish and looked nice and flawless from far away but up close this was a mess! I do think it is due to my skin type so I would say more oily to normal skin types may have a better experience.
I never used a stick foundation before until this one. The formula is very creamy and blends amazing for a stick. My pores are not accentuated at all and my skin looks very smooth. It's about medium coverage however it is buildable. It needs a little more lasting power to be a go to for me but I do like it, unfortunately I get a little shiny about the 6 hour mark.
