  • "This product is so pigmented. I love the bold red color it reminds me of a Christmas tree ornament. It is very metallic without looking glittery and packs a punch of intense color to any look." in 28 reviews
  • "After seeing the swatches of these on Instagram, I knew I needed to have one of these. I'm a big fan of cream products that I can apply with my fingers since I'm very crunched for time in the mornings, and this stuff is SUPER pigmented and applies like a dream. The color "Martini" is an ever-so-slightly olive toned gold that is very flattering." in 16 reviews

Review for: Park Ave Princess, Yacht more...
These two colors are AMAZING! Park Ave is the best one of the bunch. Yacht is amazing but i have to apply a layer, then wet the lid and apply more. In the end it ends up every bit as foiled as Park Ave. Park Ave goes on with one swipe shiny and beautiful. I was hesitant at the price but these two colors are so useable! PA is the perfect gold (looks so good with the toasted and heat!) and top Yacht can be used with basically any color scheme.

I did buy martini before top yacht but returned it. It swatches shiny and beautiful, but definitely wasn’t at the foil level that the two above are on the eye. More like a standard shimmer. That wasn’t worth $22 for me. Pretty color though.

UPDATE:
Since this review, I have ended up purchasing Fire Dancer, Beach Bae (copper) and Sun Drenched (golden champagne). Dang those Tarte sales.

Fire Dancer: Super shiny upon application. It’s not burgundy as described. It’s bright pink. A bit out of my comfort zone. I wasn’t impressed with the staying power of it. It creased a little and definitely didn’t stay vibrant all day like Park Ave and Top Yacht. I kind of wish I wouldn’t have bought that one for the color alone. Lesson learned. Hot pink isn’t my thing.

Beach Bae: HOLY BEAUTIFUL. Right up there with Park Ave on being the most awesome. Super metallic. Gorgeous color. Stays shiny all day. Park Ave is still my favorite, but just by a bit.

Sun Drenched: Super useable gold. I love the tone of this. Not quite as metallic and shiny as Beach Bae, Park Ave and Top Yacht, but definitely brighter and more vibrant than a standard shadow. This matches every color scheme of eyeshadow and I love it!

To summarize the rankings of the ones I have tried-

1. Park Ave
2. Beach Bae
3. Top Yacht
4. Sun Drenched
5. Fire Dancer
6. Martini

3 and 4 are basically a tie - Top Yacht is just a tad more metallic and is the best inner corner Highlight ever, so it ended up #3.

Review for: Pot Of Gold, Park Ave Princess, Fire Dancer, Martini, Yacht, Steel the Show more...
Wow. That’s the only way to describe tarte chrome paint shadow pots. I’ll never forget the first time I swatched fire dancer... I heard angels sing, I swear. So creamy, so pigmented, so magical and brilliant! You don’t even need primer with these! The swatches of the three shades i have handy (park ave princess, steel the show and pot o’ gold) are on my bare arm (don’t mind the cat scratch :/) so... yeah. It’s not a new concept, Stila did something similar a while back, but it is the first product with this sort of color payoff and general quality! While you don’t need a shadow to make the chrome pots stand out, I would recommend one for fallout purposes. Juuuust sayin’!

Ok, i have to be really honest here. I love Tarte and their products i use the eyeshadow pallets often and love them, the maracuja oil is amazing and don’t let me run out of The shape tape because it’s the only one i use so it makes me sad to have to say this, but don’t waste your money on the Tarte chrome paint pot. When I swatched this on my arm, i couldn’t wait to get home to try it. First time i tried using my finger and apply to my lid and it went everywhere under my eyes. I tried to apply it again by pressing on the lid instead and using a smaller amount and same thing happened. Third time i tried a brush and because of the creamy texture that was not going to work. Finally i tried pressing it on with my finger again knowing i would have to do my foundation after my eyes were finished, but i didn’t get even a couple hours before it faded away. If you swatch it on your arm with a long stroke it looks fantastic, however it doesn’t look the same on the eyes so I say.... save yourself the 20 something dollars and try something different.

Review for: Sun Drenched more...
I really want to like these but they are truly a pain to work with. These are loose pigments that have been pressed. Because of that, they can become “”undone””. Sometimes we open the testers and they look like a crumbly mess because they are a loose pigment. I wouldn’t mind this but they are also difficult to apply. They are supposed to be applied with the finger but sometimes that does not translate to the smoothest look on the eye. I tend to always have to go back in with a brush after to pack the pigment down. After some work you can get them to look very smooth and beautiful! I would have just preferred if they were either kept loose and not pressed or if they were in a liquid form so they would be easier to work with. But like I said if you are willing to work with them you can get them to look very beautiful

This is the best eyeshadow for a one and done. If I'm in a rush then I'll just put some of this on my finger and pat it on my eyes. These are so INSANELY pigmented and have the most buttery texture. They do have some fallout but that brushes away super easy. This product is like a loose shimmer eyeshadow that's not fully pressed, like it's still partly loose but its packed together and its different from any texture I've seen before.

I was just browsing Sephora one day and ran into these beauties. I wasn't sure if I was going to love them but I fell in love right away. It went on a little messy the first time I put them on, but once I got used to it, it got easier. The color lasted all day and it looks amazing! It really compliments my eyes. You do not need a lot to have it show up and you can use more for more color. I really want to try out some of the other colors. I thought there was not going to be a lot in the container, but I see it lasting quite awhile.

Review for: Park Ave Princess, Yacht more...
Originally bought Yacht because I wanted a quick, easy, swipe-on and rush out the door eyeshadow that still packed a punch. When I realized how BEAUTIFUL the pigment was (and how versatile the shadow is when combined with other colors/finishes) I HAD to go back and get Park Ave Princess. Together, they make a beautiful shimmery look that can go from subtle to blindingly sparkly! I'm in love with these shadows. Definitely worth the price because of how little you use even when you pack it on.

This is a beautiful, metallic pigment. It is vibrant and the shine is legit. You are supposed to apply it with your finger but I found that challenging without getting it all over my eye when I wanted more precise placement. I will try using a synthetic brush next time. I haven't worn this product for very long yet but the swatches on my hand didn't move until I used makeup remover. Absolutely gorgeous and highly recommend!

First off, tarte is coming out with amazing products and I love this brand so much. These shadow pots are amazing. The pigment is 100% there and these will not let you down. I would recommend this color to anyone who loves a white gold shade. It is beautiful and can jazz up any eye look. I would recommend using a glitter glue underneath, that way you dont have fall out or creasing.
