This is where my floor on gin drinking stops.  Not that this a bad gin by any means.   If you are looking at what the best price, taste and mixable gin is on the market I think this would be it.  Naturally if your pockets can go deeper you will find some better drinking gins but this is a great overall value.  Are there are some that may be a better price, more drinkable or mix more smoothly in a cocktail, of course.  I just think that this is the best of all those things taken into consideration together.  Also, it is readily available most any place.  Especially if you go out to places that are not necessarily high end dining/going out.  They typically will have Tanqueray on the shelf so you will know what you are getting.

I have always been a vodka drinker, vodka club to be exact. Last summer, I went to visit some family and friends in San Diego, CA. Upon my arrival to a friends, I was informed that the only liquor they had to offer was gin. tanqueray to be exact. I always assumed gin was nasty, you see in movies, for lack of a better way to express it, older people drinking gin. “Dry gin martini,” you hear them order. Initially I refused, not willing to try it. Eventually I caved, poured myself a shot over ice with lemonade. I was shocked how much I actually enjoyed it. Not dry at all like I previously imagined, and was extremely smooth. I never had gin stocked in my liquor cabinet at home before, but now I always make sure I have an extra.  Tanqueray London Dry Gin

This stuff is all right. I gave it five stars because it was a big hit when I brought this to a party. But personally I will leave it had a dry and crispy case. The flavoring is a bit hard to decipher but I don’t think it’s as smooth as I would like it to be. But otherwise people love this stuff and it is really good quality. It is also pretty affordable if you get it at your local liquor store. I believe it runs around $20!

I must say this product is very good used in orange juice, I mean a good quality orange juice. I used this product during the holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and birthdays. I have used fresh fruit in my drinks and they are good. I remember last year, I used a sweet strawberry juice that I made myself to insert with my orange juice and this liquor, it was good. I would recommend this product to my friends which I have already done and they use it every other weekend and for BBQs in the backyard. Tanqueray London Dry Gin is very nice and it will get you to that point of meadow out if you drink it plain or without any chasers. I have done that on a weekend after a hard and loud day at work. This stuff really relaxed me in some many ways. Like always a person should drink responsibly and never drink.

Definitely a staple gin to have around. It's not all that pricey and it gets the job done. Pleasant juniper taste followed with a bit of spice. When mixed you get more of a licorice taste than the juniper so I far prefer to drink it neat, chilled well for a few hours. I would definitely purchase again if I had company over, but it's not a "seal the deal" or "special occasion" type of drink in my opinion.

A classic nose among London dry gins; juniper and coriander, with barely anything else. Thin-bodied and level, lemon peel on the entry, lemongrass, lemon pepper, and any other exotic thing you can think of containing the word "lemon". Something more interesting almost shows up midpalate, but then quickly morphs into lime and more seasoning of some kind, or perhaps a manifestation of juniper. This is a gin that I highly characterize as citrus/coriander-forward, and seems a bit simple and one-dimensional compared to others out there. I like IPA and gin, and this one is meant for chasing more citrus-y hops IMO.

Tanqueray is the first gin I ever tried as a legal drinking adult. It is affordable and makes you feel quite classy as you sip on your cocktail. While I do think that gin is an acquired taste, it is tip top as far as other brands that I have tried. If you love gin and are looking for a quality and consistent brand Tanqueray is the choice for your glass.

I find that this brand of gin mixes well with other mixers.  I love it mixed with grapefruit juice, 50/50, squirt and other mixers. In my opinion, this gin is dry but not too dry. The price is not too expensive ranging from about $20- about $50.  I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a great gin without breaking the bank.

I discovered this not too long ago when my friends brought it over for a party. They were all shocked that I had never tried it and insisted that it was the best. To my surprise this dry gin went down smoothly and also had a slight spicy taste at the end along with smell of citrus. This is definitely a crowd favorite and a good drink to have chilled over ice.

This is the first Gin I tried and while I have decided Gin is not my favorite drink, I do believe this is a good quality of Gin. The bottle itself is nice and sturdy. The Gin had a very floral smell and worked well for my Martinis. My biggest suggestion for improvement is to have a better cap on the bottle than the standard aluminum cap.
