A decent gin. It is very dry and does need a mixer to carry it along. It left that "alcohol" feel in my chest and throat. Pricing is a litttle high in my opinion but it is not totally undrinkable. Definitely not something I would reach for off the shelf but if offered a mixed drink with it I probably would accept with the correct mixer.

I consider Tanqueray to be the "go-to" gin. It's  affordable and diverse. It tends to be more on the dry side but pairs well with various mixers. I prefer to mix this particular gin with a tonic and a lime wedge. I would definitely recommend this gin for anybody looking for something affordable with a distinctive taste.

With it's classic taste, this gin goes with a lot of different mixers and can be added to different cocktails for a nice refreshing flavor. Perfect for summer and spring.
And if you've decided to enjoy a few drinks, Tanqueray doesn't leave you feeling bad the next day.

This is what I would typically be served when asking for any mixed drink including gin in a bar or a club. It is very affordable in those mixed drinks and its a beautiful bottle. Love the color of the bottle. Would definitely purchase multiple drinks with this in it.

Very dry gin, goes down smoothly but does take a minute to adjust. I'm not a heavy drinker but I highly suggest this for a quick buzz. Also don't drink and drive. That's awful. It does taste bitter though because of the juniper berries. I would definitely buy again

This is where my floor on gin drinking stops.  Not that this a bad gin by any means.   If you are looking at what the best price, taste and mixable gin is on the market I think this would be it.  Naturally if your pockets can go deeper you will find some better drinking gins but this is a great overall value.  Are there are some that may be a better price, more drinkable or mix more smoothly in a cocktail, of course.  I just think that this is the best of all those things taken into consideration together.  Also, it is readily available most any place.  Especially if you go out to places that are not necessarily high end dining/going out.  They typically will have Tanqueray on the shelf so you will know what you are getting.

I have always been a vodka drinker, vodka club to be exact. Last summer, I went to visit some family and friends in San Diego, CA. Upon my arrival to a friends, I was informed that the only liquor they had to offer was gin. tanqueray to be exact. I always assumed gin was nasty, you see in movies, for lack of a better way to express it, older people drinking gin. ‚ÄúDry gin martini,‚ÄĚ you hear them order. Initially I refused, not willing to try it. Eventually I caved, poured myself a shot over ice with lemonade. I was shocked how much I actually enjoyed it. Not dry at all like I previously imagined, and was extremely smooth. I never had gin stocked in my liquor cabinet at home before, but now I always make sure I have an extra.  Tanqueray London Dry Gin

After Hendricks, Tanquery London Dry Gin is my favorite gin on the market. Tanquery is long, dry, and perfectly balanced. Goes great in any cocktail, especially a gin and tonic. Ideal for any gin drinking guest and is a must have for your wet bar at home.

I'm definitely a gin drinker, but I don't normally like the dryer varieties. I don't feel as though they blend as well into mixed drinks. This wasn't as dry as other dry gins have seemed to me, but I will definitely be sticking with the regular variety of this gin.
