I use the Tan Luxe The Gradual a lot, especially in the spring and summer. After my moisturizer, I let it sit for a bit before primer and makeup, and it always gives me the prettiest natural glow. It blends perfectly, never streaks, and just makes my skin look healthy and sun-kissed without the heavy self-tanner feel. Definitely one of my warm-weather must-haves.

How beautiful is the presentation? The Crème comes packaged in a white cylindrical cardboard storage container and even comes with a metal tube squeezer to help you get every last bit of product out of the tube. The texture of the self tanner is nice but a little heavy for daytime use, especially during the hotter months. Not really a big deal for me since I use self tanning products as part of my nighttime routine. Just like the illuminating drops, The Crème doesn’t have a strong, typical self tanner smell. The tan takes a while to fully develop. I saw a very subtle difference, comparable to a sun-kissed glow, in the morning but my face, neck and chest area looked a few shades darker at the end of the day. The tan is extremely natural looking, completely even, and streak free. Overall, I prefer the versatility of the drops (customizable tan, can be mixed into any moisturizer) and will more than likely end up repurchasing the drops once I run out of the self- tanning moisturizer.

I tried the tan luxe sample creme and I am amazed. I applied the creme in the morning and by evening I could see my face already had color. I could see how daily use will stack the color nicely. Not sure how long it will last but it works fast.
