Swiffer WetJet Refill Original Pad - 17 ct
I have mostly wood floors and tile in my house so a Swiffer is an essential...Especially because I have a messy husband and a puppy! I've tried many store brands of the Swiffer Wetjet Pads because the price of these isn't that easy on the wallet, however these are absolutely the most effective at cleaning the floors. The Swiffer pads are way more absorbent and better at actually getting the dirt up than any alternative, plus they're just so easy to use and stick right on my Swiffer without budging. I would recommend these to anyone who has hard floors in their house.
There's a reason Swiffer WetJet has lasted this long, because their products really work! I love that I don't have to deal with a dirty bucket of water and can just toss a wet pad when done. These are best for cleaning up right after a spill, or if you have light foot traffic. If you're waiting months and months between washing, then you need a deeper cleaner because you're waiting far too long! You should never need to go that long in between anyway because of how fast it is to mop your floor with these, and the refills you can find at any store.
I have tried all kinds of mop systems. I've tried Magic Eraser mops, the Shark steam mop, and any variety of cheap traditional mop. None of those has compared to the Swiffer WetJet. It gets the job done and takes very little effort on my part. I love the way these pads work. They are sturdy enough to last for a few uses and the easiest to change out of anything I have used. You just pull off the old one and line up the Velcro to stick on the new one. It couldn't be simpler!
I like using the wetjet when I don't have time to do a full blown mop, especially when we're about to have a lot of company over in a short time frame. The downside to these refills is when I go to put them on, they drip like crazy. As full of cleaning product they are, they also seem to dry out pretty quickly while using. I have to use 3 for just my dining room before I finish my whole room. They also come off easily. Nevertheless, I enjoy the convenience.
We love the Swifter in our house. We have laminate flooring throughout and 2 dogs so we use the Swifter in between mopping. I think the Swifter wet jet is great for the cost however the pads could use an upgrade. I don't feel like they pick up stuck on dirt as well as it could and the pads soak through quickly. They also leave streak marks on the floors from time to time. Overall, I am happy with this product and will purchase it again.
I use the swifter wet jet to clean my kitchen at work. It takes about half the time of mopping and cleans the floors so much better. I work at an outdoor camp so there is always mud, rocks, and grass tracked into the kitchen. The wet jet is a quick and easy solution to cleaning the floor thoroughly. It's also very easy to clean up afterwards and reuse, since the pads are easily interchangeable. I also like how much the pads can hold.
This put it this way, I don't even own a mop at this point. I only have two small areas that need a "mop." I have been using for years. I do find that once they are "dirty" they kind of just push the dirt around. So I only use two times (one for both my spaces x 2 times) and then I start a new one. Since I don't do this often, it is cost efficient for me. If I had a bigger space it might seem like a lot of waste (physical and money).
My S/O and I really love our Swiffer WetJet for small spills and messes in the kitchen. We do not feel that we need to buy these pads frequently and feel like the price per pad is reasonable as opposed to constantly using paper towel/cleaner or mopping. We would recommend this but suggest purchasing with a coupon or looking for discounts as must grocery stores or big box stores offer these on discount regularly.
Works well for everyday. But doesn't replace getting down on hands and knees to scrub. Doesn't get off stuff stuck to the floor or spills that have dried without a ton of effort. The kind with the mr clean eraser are worthless and don't clean any better than the regular. Save your money and just use your own cloth on the sweeper. You'll get the same results.
These work good. with a toddler in the house I'm always cleaning up sticky stuff from the floor so these are handy when i need to clean and throw away. however, the are expensive for something that i just throw away. i currently use a reusable cloth that i got from the dollar store. i will continue to buy these though for when i need to clean and throw away.
