Swiffer® WetJet® Mop Wood Floor

The Swiffer Wet Jet Wood Floor Cleaner system works a bit differently than the other cleaners in our test. The pre-mixed floor cleaning solution is dispensed onto the floor through the Swiffer mop. The textured pad (with a scrubby strip) attached to the mop head gathers the soil and cleaner as you pass it across the floor. In our test, the Swiffer system did a good job dissolving and removing our sticky soil with very few passes but struggled a bit removing scuff marks, requiring repeated swipes. The system is very easy to use and the cleaner is very easy to dispense.

I have no problem using a regular mop to clean my floors but when I moved into a smaller place it seemed like a waste to get a huge bucket of water to mop what came to about 200 square feet of hardwood. I picked up a WetJet for wood and thought I was good to go. About a year later though, not so much... It does clean the floors as first but after several months of use it leaves a very sticky residue so wherever I go in my apartment it sounds like I have gum stuck to my feet... Definitely should have just gone with a regular mop to begin with.

Unfortunately, this does not work well on wood floors. I originally purchased the swiffer wet jet to clean the tiles in my kitchen and was told by the Target worker to purchase the wet jet for wood floors and that it works well on the floors. Once I started to clean the wood floors, I noticed huge streaks. Instead of cleaning the floors, it made a bigger mess. If you want to purchase this for your hardwood floors, I do not recommend it at all. You are better off purchasing another item.

This is my favorite mop! I'm very ocd about mops. I hate the ones you can't wash or change out because I feel like you're trying to clean your floor with dirt and germs from the last time you moped. And you can rinse them out but they aren't really getting clean. With the swiffer you just pop a pad on and go. And if it's super dirty you can use more than one! And the spray cleaner smells amazing! And it doesn't have that strong cleaner smell to it!

I give this 3 it is one of my favorite products in my home but recently my origional broke and I had to buy 2 afterwards because the first replacement I bought wasn't up to participate and broke really easily. I haven't had an issue with the second one though and I would still buy another, it saves so much time and it gets floors so much cleaner than a traditional mop where u keep dipping your mop into dirty water, also smells great!

I live in Buffalo, NY. It snows quite a lot and that means wet shoes and dirt on my floor. I have never used this until the summer. My dog likes to bring back dirt under from under his paws so the swiffer really deep cleans. It smells really good so my roommates know I have cleaned once they walk in the door. I usually vacuum first to get all the big stuff out the way. Then I press to spray and mop! I will never use any other brands.

I love using this mop on my hardwood floors! It's easy to care around because you don't have to carry around a bucket full of water or anything like that. All you do is make sure you have the cleaner attached, a new mop pad and get cleaning! It can seem expensive to keep buying the cleaner and mop pads but it really comes down to how often you're doing your floors. My floors come out bright and shiny after using this product.

I hate mopping and after purchasing this I will never go back! It is so easy to clean my kitchen floor and takes half the time mopping took. It also has a really great clean scent and makes the whole kitchen smell great. The only expensive part is actually buying the wet jet other then that the supplies for it are pretty inexpensive and they work really well. Would recommend this to anyone who has a mop.

After moving into a home with a wood floor, I needed a system to clean my floors quickly and easily. Swiffer Wetjet wood floor cleaner was exactly the product I needed. I purchased the starter kit at Dollar General and if I needed to, I would purchase it again. I really feel that all swiffer products are a good value. The Wood floor cleaner keeps my wood floors shiny and clean!

This is a really great idea. These are way more simple to use than most mops. The only thing is that the stick is barely tall enough for me to hold, and I'm short/average. For anyone taller, they would need to bend over in order to be able to scrub the floor effectively. This product also does break easily, so plan on repurchasing after a few months of use.
