Sutter Home Fre Red Blend is the first alcohol free wine I've had the pleasure of tasting. I definitely drank more wine than beer when I did drink so having this as an option made me happy. Screw top. That's a complete sentence. Now that we are past that I opened it up and it definitely smelled of a red blend. I was excited to try it so opened my mouth and tasted something like wine. I was pleased. Moments later it does fall a bit flat like that nice burn you get from wine in the back of your throat is non existent. It does sort of fall to a fruit taste for a moment and then I tell myself this is alcohol free and a blend and click my tongue a few times with satisfaction. I had one glass a night and look forward to trying many different alcohol free wines in the future.
