This thing has held up for years. Which I think is rather impressive, as the majority of the time it's been in a plastic bag and tossed around fairly carelessly. I honestly can't remember how much I paid for this, but it didn't break the bank. I think that the two setting (high/low) are very useful. The high setting makes it come out faster and more liquidy and the low setting dries a bit faster, considering it wasn't quite as warm to begin with. The kickstand is very nice too. The one drawback I think this has is that the glue tends to drip out of the nozzle a bit, especially on the high setting. But if you set it over something that you don't mind getting glue on while it's plugged in, it's fine. OH, I just realized another drawback. It doesn't have an on/off switch. If it's plugged in, it's on. But this holds up well and serves it's purpose.
