I gave this a 2 Star Rating, meaning I find the product to be poor. I didn’t think it deserved 1 star because it wasn’t sickening or truly bad. In fact, this coffee beverage left me feeling pretty good! Positive energy, yes. Maybe it is the MCT oil from coconut oil, maybe the added caffeine and protein and nutrients - calcium (15% DV), iron (10% DV), and potassium (15% DV). It’s also not as fattening, sugary, or high in calories as many bottled coffee drinks. I feel a sense of clear focus (rare with my ADHD) and decreased appetite (good as I need to work on portion control). It’s keto-friendly & lactose-free for what that’s worth, I know for some that’s a deciding factor in purchasing. But the taste! 😖 *shudders* That was pretty bad. I had to gulp it all down as fast as possible to get it over with. It tasted quite watery with a very strong saccharine sweetness that is extremely off-putting, they should really cut down on the monk fruit juice concentrate and stevia. And I shook it really well before opening and it expires in about 3-4 months so it should be good. It was so unpleasant to drink that despite the really enjoyable and refreshing effects and benefits, I would never buy it again. You should try it once though and see what you think - look at the other reviews, some people agree with me but many seem to enjoy the flavor. If you enjoy the flavor, I’d say it’s a good product and bump it up to 4-5 stars! But personally? Ewwww. This is bad-tasting stuff. And you know, there are such a variety of bottled coffee drinks on the market (gotta try ‘em all). May I recommend a Bolthouse Farms Cappuccino shake instead? It’s higher in cals and sugar, but tastes smooth, thick, properly sweetened, has more protein than this beverage, and gives you energy and focus all day long. This drink has 200 mg caffeine in it - equivalent to 2 cups of coffee - “energize responsibly”. Worth a try if you’re a coffee fiend like me, personally prefer drinking mud (k not really but you know what I mean), hope you enjoy the taste better than I did because the effects are quite lovely but it just isn’t worth it (even for a coffee fiend like me). Try Bolthouse Farms or Dunkin Lattes or maybe some esoteric organic elixir. ⭐️⭐️/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
