A quick-absorbing, medicated dry oil to clear congested pores, treat and prevent acne, and smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for clearer, smoother skin.

If you want to know more…
With 1.5 percent salicylic acid, this fast-acting, quick-drying, medicated oil clears acne and blackhead-causing buildup and debris from congested pores for smoother, blemish-free skin. Tea tree oil and black cumin seed oil support clear skin, while hexylresorcinol and licorice naturally brighten the appearance of old acne discolorations for a more even-toned complexion.
Counterbalancing the potentially drying effects of salicylic acid, milk thistle and cucumber seed oil nourish the skin and smooth the appearance of lines and wrinkles, without leaving a greasy residue. Chamomile and neroli soothe stressed, blemish-prone skin.

What else you need to know:
"When I formulated U.F.O., I wanted to create a dry oil that practically disappears into the skin, leaving oily skin smooth (but never greasy) and yet effectively treated for blemishes and blackheads. Salicylic acid is notoriously over-drying, leaving your skin stripped and looking irritated. By infusing salicylic acid into clarifying oils (like tea tree oil and black cumin seed oil), the drying effects of salicylic acid are nipped in the bud, while all of the treatment aspects (like clearing congested pores and managing blackheads and blemishes) are in full-force. U.F.O. is part of the new Green Line, along with Martian Mattiyfing Melting Water-Gel Toner, created specifically for oily skin clients."—Sunday Riley

Sunday Riley U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil
- "Absolutely OBSESSED with this! Keeps all my stubborn acne at bay! I apply twic a day sometimes, once in the am, and once at night. Has a strong natural scent but I actually like it. It is very gentle especially for my sensitive skin. It is an oil, but it works like a charm for oily skin. Wouldn't buy any other serum! " in 93 reviews
- "Just bought this oil, and immediately after putting it on I can feel my breakouts soothed and the light tingling from the salicylic acid so I know it's working. For my normally oily, retinol-dried out skin, it's hydrating enough for daytime use." in 78 reviews
This has drastically improved my skin clarity and texture! Was terrified to try an oil on my oily skin but this leaves my skin feeling hydrated and not greasy. Definitely on the pricey end but worth it based on he improvements I've seen in my skin. Highly recommend! Sunday Riley U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil
I love most of the Sunday Riley products, this one included. However, it is insanely overpriced, especially for such a large size, which will likely go stale/rancid before you can use it all. I found it a bit irritating if used every night, and honestly, usually ended up mixing with another oil as I didn’t find it super moisturizing. My go-to clarifying oil remains Herbivore Blue Tansy, which, for the price, cannot be beat.
This product, in addition with the rest of my skincare routine, has drastically reduced the number of blemishes on my face. I use it both at night and in the morning and it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin or cause redness like other acne treatments. The U.F.O. is SUPER expensive but I've had it for about 6 months and still have half the bottle left. Will be repurchasing when I run out in a few months.
When I first started using it i was very skeptical about the effectiveness of the product. But, I’m almost out of this oil and I’m so happy with the results! At first it seemed like it wasn’t doing anything, but with persistence I found that it pushes out all the impurities of the skin and makes your skin softer. I think that this has really diminished the occurrence of my pretty severe acne, so A+!
Not sure if this is worth the hefty price tag, I don't think I saw an improvement in my adult cystic acne, I was looking for anything to work and tried all I could and really hoped this would do what it promised but it didn't, I think on the contrary it made me start breaking out more but in a different way with little whiteheads, so now I'm stuck with almost a full bottle of this that I can't use.
It feels great on the skin, smells medicinal, and my skin is hydrated on the morning. I don’t see it clearing up or preventing black heads but I didn’t anticipate that to work anyway. It has lasted me a long time, 7 months now and I’m about half way. Oils are out on after moisturizer so I tend to wait until the moisturizer has sunk into the skin first before putting the oil on. It “dries” quickly.
If you are prone to breakouts you must try Sunday Riley UFO oil. This is a 1.5% salicylic acid oil that should be used on a clean dry skin. It penetrates so quickly and effectively that you’ll start to see results within a few applications. Try pairing it with the Martian mask which is Sunday Riley’s 10% sulfur mask. I promise you your skin will clear up within days and won’t leave you dry or flaky.
I got the opportunity to get a sample size of this acne face oil at a Sunday Riley event and took it with me on a weekend trip. I wanted something travel size in lieu of my regular acne spot treatment and this was perfect! I was hesitant at first seeing as how I have oily skin and this is an oil but this worked perfectly. It reduced my pimples overnight and absorbed into my skin nicely. I’d definitely recommend this!
I promised myself that I would never spend more than $40 on a oil, and when I was given a sample of this I knew the danger I was putting myself in. This oil is honestly one of the most amazing products I have ever used. It has left my skin feeling and looking flawless. It has removed my dark spots, my enlarged pores, and my small hormonal acne. I will definitely be repurchasing this after I’m done.
This is only of my holy grail skin care essentials in my skin care routine. A Youtuber recommended this and i had to give it a try. The packaging is great and i would definitely repurchase at Sephora. This is expensive however there is a set that includes two items for the cost of one.
