If you want to know more…
With 1.5 percent salicylic acid, this fast-acting, quick-drying, medicated oil clears acne and blackhead-causing buildup and debris from congested pores for smoother, blemish-free skin. Tea tree oil and black cumin seed oil support clear skin, while hexylresorcinol and licorice naturally brighten the appearance of old acne discolorations for a more even-toned complexion.
Counterbalancing the potentially drying effects of salicylic acid, milk thistle and cucumber seed oil nourish the skin and smooth the appearance of lines and wrinkles, without leaving a greasy residue. Chamomile and neroli soothe stressed, blemish-prone skin.

What else you need to know:
"When I formulated U.F.O., I wanted to create a dry oil that practically disappears into the skin, leaving oily skin smooth (but never greasy) and yet effectively treated for blemishes and blackheads. Salicylic acid is notoriously over-drying, leaving your skin stripped and looking irritated. By infusing salicylic acid into clarifying oils (like tea tree oil and black cumin seed oil), the drying effects of salicylic acid are nipped in the bud, while all of the treatment aspects (like clearing congested pores and managing blackheads and blemishes) are in full-force. U.F.O. is part of the new Green Line, along with Martian Mattiyfing Melting Water-Gel Toner, created specifically for oily skin clients."—Sunday Riley

Sunday Riley U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil
- "Absolutely OBSESSED with this! Keeps all my stubborn acne at bay! I apply twic a day sometimes, once in the am, and once at night. Has a strong natural scent but I actually like it. It is very gentle especially for my sensitive skin. It is an oil, but it works like a charm for oily skin. Wouldn't buy any other serum! " in 93 reviews
- "Just bought this oil, and immediately after putting it on I can feel my breakouts soothed and the light tingling from the salicylic acid so I know it's working. For my normally oily, retinol-dried out skin, it's hydrating enough for daytime use." in 78 reviews
This dry oil serum is amazing for oily, acne-prone skin. It seems to make my moisturizer go further than it normally would. It helps keep my skin from breaking out and has changed the texture of my skin, making it velvety smooth. One small bottle lasted me for over 6 months and I immediately noticed a negative change in my skin when I ran out. Definitely will repurchase!
I actually returned this product when I initially bought it because I thought it wasn't really doing anything for my skin and the results didn't justify the price. Then I decided to repurchase it and upon giving it another try for a longer period of time, it has definitely improved my skin. As someone with very oily, acne prone skin this has proven to be very beneficial.
I just use this on the oiler sections of my combinations skin face, because the salicylate acid is highly concentrated in this oil. I apply my moisturizer all over my face, then take a drop of the U.F.O. Oil on my fingertips and press it onto the oily sections. It has successfully held back breakouts since I started using it, and a little goes a very long way
If you have blackheads (who doesn't), acne, or the occasional blemish or breakout, you need this. And I mean this. It smells of.. oregano maybe, but the smell goes away almost immediately. It also absorbs into your skin pretty quickly. Please note - you only need to use the smallest amount of this oil. Like, a few drops should suffice for your entire face, which will make your bottle last longer and that's a good thing because this stuff is expensive, but beyond worth it. I use the Sunday Riley Clay Cleanser and UFO Oil after, and my blackheads are almost nonexistent, which blows my mind. No exaggeration. This stuff is worth every penny.
This face oil is great for anyone that has combination or oily skin. I used it in place of a moisturizer and it worked great! It didn't cause my face to become more oily and it help to diminish the appearance of some bumps and breakouts I had on my skin. My only setback with this product is the PRICE! I wish it was more affordable because it really is a great product :(
Now this is my kind of oil! Honestly I The smell. Lots of people down but the herbier the better. There is one thing I have a hard time understanding about Sunday Riley though, why the dye? This can your skin out slightly, but who cares if it gets rid of my blackheads. I would repurchase even with the added dye
I just started using this serum recently since they had a sample size on Sephora that you could get with your reward points. This stuff works great and I love the green color. The only thing I cannot get over is the smell. It is SO strong. I'm not sure if I will end up purchasing the full size bottle unless I continue to see results, but it seems to be working for now.
I use this on a nightly basis and most mornings. My husband even loves it. It does clear up my skin within the first two days and it doesn’t make your face greasy at all. It’s more of a dry oil that’s actually healthy for your skin! Will work for all skin types.
I wanted to like this product so bad because I keep hearing all of these miracle stories about how great that it works at clearing your skin of acne, but unfortunately I never saw any results on my skin. I got a sample from Sephora and used it and woke up and didn't see any changes in my skin. Maybe I should have used it longer? I just cant commit to the price.
I believe this has decreased my acne moderately. I only use it three times a week. The smell is pretty bad, but it doesn’t last that long, and I can deal with it as long as it works. I gave the product four stars because it is very greasy. I know it is a serum, but it takes a very long time to absorb. Wearing under makeup is a definite no. Can only be used at night.
