Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil
Luna works throughout the night to deliver more visibly youthful, luminous, even-toned skin in the morning. Trans-retinoic acid ester (retinol) complex reduces the appearance of pores and wrinkles, while visibly improving the signs of premature aging, including fine lines, uneven texture, age spots, dryness, and dullness. Balanced with blue tansy and German chamomile essential oils—both rich in soothing, blue azulene—the look of redness and sensitivity are visibly balanced for a calm, even-toned complexion. Luna is clinically proven to improve the appearance of fine lines, radiance, and skin smoothness in as little as four weeks, while advanced retinol ester mixed with potent botanicals makes this product the ultimate transformational, soothing, sleeping night oil.

Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil
- "Hands down, my favorite skincare product I've ever used. I've been using the Luna oil for over 6 months now and am so impressed with the change in my skin! I have very sensitive skin that is prone to redness, irritation, and breakouts. Retinoids typically cause major dryness and peeling with my skin, but not with the Luna oil! My skin is brighter, with a more even tone and texture, and my breakouts are far and few between! When I do break out, I find that the inflammation clears much clearer than it used to. I even had to change to a lighter foundation shade because of how much clearer my skin became!" in 198 reviews
- "I got a couple samples of this from Sephora and it lasted so long! It didn't take me long to fall in love with this product! It's so useful for hydrating and lightening dark spots! It definitely exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend this product even though it's expensive. Worth it!" in 192 reviews
Do I think this lives up to the crazy hype it has gotten? Not quite. As I started retinol use for preventative measures, rather than for current problems, it took some time before I saw a difference. I use it a few nights a week and can see a positive change in the tone/texture of my skin the following morning, but still on the fence whether it is worth the price.
I bought this product on a friend's recommendation and despite the price I have already repurchased it. A little goes a long way (I use 4 drops every second night) so the bottle lasts for ages! This product has improved the overall tone and clarity of my skin, reduced redness and reduced congestion. If you're looking to level-up your skincare, this is the product for you.
This is one of the very few products I've tried that you see immediate results the next day. It calms and soothes my sensitive skin, while give me a healthy glow. My skin is always plump and clear in the morning. It's a gentle retinol that doesn't dry or irritate my skin (like most do). Some people complain about the smell, but I like not having added fragrance. I love this oil!
This is in a AJ oil that truly works. It is blue in color and you massage it in until the blue disappears. It has the most wonderful earthy smell to it also. The price is a bit steep for what you get but it truly does work and you don't need to use too much. I would recommend this to anyone starting anti-aging skin care and I would definitely purchase this again.
I was given this product from a friend at christmas time, and I fell in love with ingridents, not harsh very effective, I hear if you use the good genes togeather with this you get the best effect. My skin craves this but the price is way out of my budget( sadly) just like any high end product now that I am done with .5 ml bottle, my kids would literally starve for two months to buy just the oil. For people like myself on a budget it's not cost effective, it's a $100 beauty item. I have been doing so much research in skin and watching interviews between the Sunday Riley and the lad behind the other costly beauty product I would love to try and you can see just with the ingredients why the product is so effective and costly becaue you see a difference as stated on the box ( a month). Now days I ask my boyfried instead of buying me any gift for any special occasion, please let me go on the sephora website and get products especially skin products recommended by Caroline Hirons(a well known skin guru to the skin industry and behind the creations of Pixi treats skin, she has a youtube channel and a great blog with great beauty and skin products and advice for every skin problem you can think of, of course I can't afford) the items she recommends for my skin probs are luxury, Anyone who doesn't have kids in extra curicular activities. sports, learning a instrutment, prefer them happy while I research and try to find the most affordable dupe. I am turning 40 in a couple years so I want nothing but the best and what Caroline recommends, of course the items are pricey, but she really did try to make a brand only sold at target to be cost effective.
This is a perfect oil for someone just starting out OR for a skincare junkie. It is just great to have in your lineup. I only started using it two weeks ago after years of holding off. I am sad I didn't try it as soon as it came out! Leaves my skin glowing even after just one or two nights. Smell is light and fades quickly. Just be careful not to use too much!
Best night time oil of all time. I use it before applying Good Genes and my skin looks like a 16 years old version of myself in the morning. I adore this product, so much that it is a holy grail for me. I will repurchase it forever! Totally recommend
You get a good amount of product for the price. I've been using this oil for a while now. It has a nice herbal scent and it absorbs easily; you just need about two to three drops for face and neck. It has a nice dropper, and comes in a dark glass container which prevents the product from going bad. It has retinol in it, so make sure to limit your sun exposure.
This is a nice product. Very moisturizing. I’m not the biggest fan of oils for my skin because I feel like they don’t really absorb into my skin and they just sit on my face. However, if you have super dry skin I’m sure it would work really well for you!
Honestly, I'm not entirely sure what this was actually suppose to do. I used it for probably a month and it got rid of my dry skin and made my face super soft. I had to stop using it though because as summer approached, my skin got excessively oily and the night oil was too much on top of that. It's a great hydrator and really does leave you feeling like an oil slick!
Q & A
I keep hearing about the Luna Oil, and the Good Genes. Do you have to use both, or is one better than the other? If I were to only buy one, which one is the MUST have item???
Is this worth the hefty price tag? Will this help my skin if I am currently suffering from active breakouts? Also, is there any stinging? I ask because I use good genes and if there is any broken skin, it burns so much!
Would I put this on after I put on your moisturizer for the night or can I skip the moisturizer and just add this?
I see this in every social media am dying to try it is this good for oily skin? I have never use any retinol products will this make me dry?
Everyone is talking about ! But is it really working and Howlong did you wait before seing a difference ?
