These curtains didn't have the typical back that a blackout curtain has, they are woven like it said so if you have pets specifically cats they may snag it. It does block out light but not all of it. They were easy to hang.

These curtains are lightweight which is nice for a blackout curtain, but it doesn’t completely black out the light. My bedroom gets a lot of light especially in the morning and these didn’t effectively block enough light for me to consider them blackout.

I absolutely love these curtains! They are truly light blocking and room darkening. I have them in my west facing dining room and they work perfectly. Easy to install made with durable fabric.
