Works on a variety of surfaces. We use it on the tile floors and our wood floors. We’ve even used it at a neighbors on laminate flooring. It’s safe and easy to use. I am not 100% it’s worth the cost as ours has already broke and pours water out everywhere. The company seems to be pretty good with customer satisfaction and service, so I plan to contact them to see how we can fix it. We loved it while it worked and it does a good job sanitizing our floors. I still recommend

I had issues with the handle but I tapped it down and was able to use the steam mop and it was super amazing! It cleaned the dog prints and any little mess with ease!

The STM-500 Heavy Duty Steam Mop has been an amazing addition to my household cleaning kit. What I love about it first off is it's handle height. I have a steam mop I purchased on Amazon and it's handle is much shorter, making me lean over and work harder than I should have to. This was the first thing I noticed.
It comes with a plastic cup to aid you in filling it up. It's very easy to use and cleans so well. It heats up almost immediately and you've got your floor done and dusted before you know it. I wish it had come with multiple cleaning pads but I guess nothing is perfect. The cleaning area could be larger. Once you've got the pad attached the cleaning area is smaller than I would like. When you're done you just take it off and launder it. It really is an invaluable tool that everyone needs to clean and sanitize floors. I won't be using it on carpet though. I tried but for whatever the reason it didn't move well over carpet. The entire triangular head came of a couple of times before I gave up. What would have brought this up to a five is if it had a detachable steamer gun tool so you can clean everything; cabinets, stoves, tubs, etc. Also if I had been able to use it on carpet. Other than that I like it a great deal and I'm jazzed to have it.
