Stella is a Belgian lager, and a big brand of Anheuser-Busch InBev . It is straw in colour and has a crisp and light flavour with matching aromas, the head is nice but nothing special, it is easy to drink with a light maltiness and a bit of aroma hops but nothing too strong.
When served in the Stella Artios Beer Glasses you get the true stella experience… you have the stella artois logo on your stella artois glass for a start, letting everyone know that you are not drinkin the cheap stuff. But apart from that it does increase the release the aromas into your nose and help it slide down the throat like silk. It’s a very easy to drink beer, especially for lager lovers, however it certainly is not advenutous.

Very clear gold color with two fingers of white head made up of loose bubbles. Head crackles and fizzes down fairly quickly. Tons of visible carbonation.

Smell is a real clean water barley and malts, something like a beer, smell. Nothing really jumping out here. A faint hint of hops in the background. None of that Euro skunk smell, yeah!

The taste was very good while a bit plain. It tastes like a clean refreshing lager on the lighter side without any adjunct flavors.

Mouth feel is very light and crackles across the tounge with all of that carbonation. Finish is pretty crisp with a bit of wetness on the back side.

I associate Stella Artois with a crazy Bassnectar show I went to in NY a few years back. It's the one and only (I'm pretty sure) time I've drank it-they had these giant (in my mind they were giant) 32oz Stellas at the stadium for $10 and my mind was blown that I could get a giant frosty beer that I had to hold with 2 hands, and they gave us lids and straws. I will never forget that...

Well, I don’t normally pick up Stella to drink although I know many people who favor it. I recently brought my kid to Chuck E Cheese to find out they sell beer. I paid $16 for 8oz of the only alcohol they offered - Stella Artois - and although I purchased it severely overpriced, it was worth it at the time and I was pleased with the taste. I would drink again, this time purchased from somewhere more reasonably priced.

I’m not overly wow’d by this beer, for all the hype it gets. The fancy commercials portraying this beer as almost snobby just don’t stack up to the actual quality of the beer. It seems a little bland to me to be honest. Not quite the Champagne of beer in my opinion. Giving 4 stars, because even though it is lacking, it’s one of the better in its class.

I hadn't tried Stella until recently. I always viewed Stella as a fancy beer - all the commercials made it seem like it was a luxury product. However, upon trying it, I wasn't overly impressed. It was just okay, not a ton of flavor. It had a little bit of a skunky aftertaste, which I've noticed with Corona, too. Not my first choice of beer.

If you are looking for a nice smooth beer to relax with then Stella is for you. Not only is it a smooth beer to drink but the taste is amazing! This is truly a beer to love no matter who you are, female, male, or even just a first time drinker. If you finally want a beer you can enjoy then Stella is for you.  Stella Artois Beer

Review for: Lager more...
For so long, I had no idea this was a lager. I thought this was something like champagne or richy-rich light beer for rich women on diets, which is why I avoided it for so long. Then, I went to a party where there were many cases of this, so I tried one, and it was DELICIOUS. Now I love getting it when I'm out at restaurants or at the bar because it's one of those things where you have no idea until you try it! It's got a good lager taste, and it's smooth but with a robust body. Definitely not what I expected, it's better!

Looks like a normal beer, light gold color. Decent lacing with slow to fade foam.
Smells sweet, that's the main thing. Certainly picking up some grass, wheat, light hop
Taste is along the same line, sweet bread, maybe some malt or pale corn, and very lightly hoppy. Watery but not in a bad way, very drinkable. It's certainly very accepting to my senses, it's not bitter at all.

If I go to a bar and they are not able to make me an amaretto sour (my go to mixed drink) or if they do not have any kind of cider, I always go for a Stella. It is a really good beer! And obviously, I prefer drinks that don’t have a strong alcohol taste- so for folks like me who have a picky palate, this beer is great.

Does this taste better or worse than Blue moon? Not a huge beer drinker so I am just curious.

I tried the cider Stella at a bar and loved it! Does anyone know if they sell it in stores?
