Description

The Kopili Tea Estate is named for the sacred Kopili River which meanders through the hills of Assam and empties into the mighty Brahmaputra in the lower plains. Located in Umrangshu, the estate covers 3000 acres at an elevation of 2000 feet above sea level.

Kopili is the only tea estate in Assam located at this elevation. The other Assam gardens are at a maximum elevation of 150 to 200 feet, with some even below sea level. Kopili is surrounded by dense, lush evergreen rain forests. Kopili teas benefit from the close proximity of the hot springs at Garampani. The Kopili Estate is owned by the same family who owns the well-known Ambootia™ Estate in Darjeeling.

The teas from Kopili are unique due to the proximity of the hot springs, the climate of the region and the soil conditions. Kopili Assam is in a class by itself and has inherent natural flavor and body which can not be replicated anywhere else. It is an excellent afternoon tea and goes well with milk.

Stash is one of my favorite tea brands. Everything is always packaged well, has great flavor, and is very affordable. It was also my first brand of loose leaf tea ever, and I was not disappointed. Wonderful flavor, smell and taste wise. I definitely recommend any Stash product.

I had bought this tea before finding out it was loose leaf! but i can say this is by far the best loose leaf tea I've had. I recommend on getting a strainer for the tea!

I love loose leaf teas because then I can use my cute Steepers and reduce waste! The tea itself is delicious too!
