This is a hands saver for sure. Been using this gadget for a few years now. It is light weight, made of plastic and has been pretty durable so far. Easy clean, comes with extra blades and you can also purchase extra blades separately on Amazon. It is an electric peeler but also has the convenience to use with batteries so you can take camping or use when a plug is not available. I peeled approximately 20+ potatoes in about 8-9 mins. Yes, some can probably peel faster by hand but when you are not able too or want to have the kids help, they love it. The peel comes off with minimal waste, it leaves little cute rings on potato when cut and has an automatic shut off once the potato is peeled. The top and bottom does not get peeled so you have to cut the ends or quickly peel it when cutting out any brown spots on your potatoes. Highly recommend for a budget friendly kitchen gadget. Also peels apples, sweet potato’s and more.
