My daily Starbucks coffee. I LOVE PIKE PLACE roast because it is smooth, rich and not bitter. I brew it every morning in my drip coffee maker. It starts my day right . Five stars!

The pike place roast coffee from Starbucks is delicious and makes the perfect cup of coffee in the morning. I like grabbing the whole beans that way I grind what I need for the morning so that it’s always fresh! The medium roast is perfect, not too light or too bitter. It has hints of cocoa which I love and just makes my coffee taste richer.

I truly don't understand how people drink this and think it's great. Maybe it's due to all the chemicals they spray on their coffee in the fields or potentially bad storage practices, but this coffee is bitter with an acidic finish. I think maybe people either convinced themselves otherwise due to great branding or it's possible that Starbucks has become so ubiquitous that people truly don't know what good coffee is anymore. It's sad honestly; We are settling for terrible coffee and praising it.
