The Starface balm was a product I was curious about for a while and I finally decided to give it a try. After trying it out for a week I simply went back to my previous lip balm. The balm itself isn’t bad as the flavor was pleasant, and it did keep my lips moisturized. However I personally didn’t like how it felt as time went on as the texture felt a tad tacky. I also think that the size of the balm might be too large for people with smaller lips. Overall I think it’s a nice product but just not for me.
I really do love these little balms they remind me of the ones I had as a kid but MUCH better quality and taste. I do wish they lasted a little longer on the lips but it’s definitely moisturizing and I love the fun packaging!
Scent & Flavor: The guava scent is the absolute highlight. It’s sweet, fruity, and tropical without being "artificial" or overpowering. It hits that nostalgic candy note while still feeling fresh.
Texture: It has a smooth, buttery glide that isn't sticky or tacky. It leaves a subtle, healthy sheen on the lips—not quite a gloss, but definitely a "your lips but better" glow.
Hydration: Formulated with shea butter and coconut oil, it provides immediate relief for dryness. However, if your lips are severely cracked or peeling, you might find yourself reapplying often as it's a thinner formula.
Packaging: In true Starface fashion, the neon yellow/green tube is iconic. It’s easy to find at the bottom of a messy bag, and the twist mechanism is sturdy.
