You know how with some self tanners, when the tan fades it kinda fades unevenly, sometimes scaly looking and streaking?(like the loreal sublime one) Does this one do that?

This tanner fades pretty evenly. Generally, I have found that spending a little bit more money on a higher end tanner is best to avoid splotchy and uneven fading.

The color of this is great. It is hard to apply evenly, but after a shower it looks great. I did not think it faded unevenly, and never got a comment on my self tanner which was great, just that I looked tan.

If you don't exfoliate it can look kind of patchy as it fades, but for the most part it was even!

No for me either. If you follow the steps that others have laid out for you first you should be fine. If you still have problems with uneven-ness, check out st. tropez's mousse its a lot easier to apply and doesn't fade unevenly or their gradual tan. All work really really well, you just need to find what's best for you.

Not for me, as long as I exfoliated before applying the product and moisturize everyday. The color payoff of this product is great and realistic!

What works for me is shaving exfoliating and moisturizing before applying self tanner, that will help you get a even tan and it will also fade evenly

I find the best way to keep this looking fresh and then to have it fade evenly is to do this: -apply on completely dry, exfoliated skin -wait 24 hours before you shower then just shower and wash, don't exfoliate. However Moisturize with a regular Moistrizer after the shower. -on your next shower, exfoliate then moisturize Keep alternating from regular moisturizing after you shower and exfoliating on the next and your tan will keep well but then fade evenly with no weird scaly uneven tan! If you want to up keep the tan. Follow the above schedule but after a week and 1/2 after an exfoliating shower, apply the St Tropez again.
