I ran a half marathon last year and ate this along the way! I'm not sure if it's a mind thing or if they really work, but I did feel more energy after eating them! They come in really small pouches which was perfect to tuck in my waist band for my run. I would definitely recommend them.

I do like the taste! But it's kind of like eating candy, it's easy to eat way too many! Haha.

I've tried the sport beans and other gels. I find that while I definitely feel a difference after consuming the gels, it's hard to distinguish anything from the beans. Plus, they have a lot of sure and aren't that great for you, especially if you're seriously competitive.

I run several 10k races a year and because the races require more endurance than a casual jog, I MUST have my Jelly Belly sports beans before I run! They taste good, go down easy and give me the extra umph that I need to conquer the 6 miles

I definitely preferred these to GU during my training/races. My only complaint is that they are not the easiest to chew while running. The flavors are good but without water I had a rough time.

My coach used to have us eat these before our events at the big all day swim meets. I never needed a whole pack for one event, and they always improved my performance. I used to eat the lemon lime flavor, and they tasted great even though I hate jelly beans
